Week 3

I did my first leg workout of week 3 and OMG my glutes and hammys will be feeling it! I had my boyfriend use my basketball to massage out my hamstrings (I don't have a foam roller) so hopefully that helps! I am LOVING the pain though, I know I worked hard!
Also, I made the Lemon protein bars from her recipes and they are tasty! I just put a batch of the turkey muffins in the oven, I have heard they taste pretty good so I'll try it!

I was sweating up a storm. that work out is no joke. she really kicked it up this week. i need to replenish my epsom salt. a good soak is going to be needed several times this week.0

The leg curls were bad *kitten*...I def. felt it. I actually did the end of the workout first (calf raises, and leg curls) before the deadlifts so my bf could show me. When I did my deadlifts, my legs were shaking! Hopefully that means something! Cheers to week 3!0

I need to make these recipes! I was going to do it last week and didn't ever get to it. You guys are doing awesome! I love the sore feeling. It is such a good feeling to know I am doing something good for my body even if it hurts. And leg days always make me shake and seem to get me sweating more than the other days.0

That was a crazy leg work out. In my gym the weight room is upstairs and my legs were shaking so bad I thought I was going to fall down the stairs.
I was wondering how the lemon bars were. I'm going to make those tomorrow!0 -
I'm looking forward to it. I love working out my legs, even if I can barely walk to my car when I'm done. :blushing: I keep meaning to make the turkey meatball thingys, but I get lazy. That's what I need to work on.

Hi! I'm new to the group but on week 3 day 17...tomorrow is "pick your own trouble area" day and well I just did triceps and will do abs friday so I'm just going to do legs! My hamstrings and glutes are still sore from monday!
I'm following the meals 90%...thank goodness I love egg whites0 -
I am STILL sore from legs on Monday! I am going to give it my best tomorrow. I'm sure I'll loosen up while I'm working out so that will help! I do a 5 min warm up on the elliptical when I get there and that has seemed to help!
I have to admit that I am not a fan of the "cable one arm tricep extensions." I don't know if i wasn't doing them correctly or what but 1) I didn't feel it and 2) it was hurting my wrists! I googled alternatives and bodybuilding.com had a couple so I am going to do the reverse grip pull downs. Same grip just with a bar! I like to be able to feel the "pain!"

I got sick on the weekend and missed a few workouts, but I'm back on track as of yesterday, just shuffled my days a little.
Still feeling a little sick and majorly struggled with the eating the last past few days but the rest of the week will be better!
