W5 D2 Done!!

I did it!!

For some reason two 8 min runs felt easier than the three 5 min runs on W5 D1. Had some motivational music, ran at 5.0, slight incline.

Also, did 20 min stretching including some foam rolling. While foam rolling, I felt that the tightest spot (the spot that hurts most) is along the IT band around midway to the knees.

Have anyone tried foam rolling? Which was your most tightest spot?

Can't wait for the 20 min run on Sat...

Awesome job! I did my week 5, day 2 today too! I haven't tried foam rolling, but that sounds interesting..I'm going to google it and see what I can find on it!

I finished w5d2 today as well, felt really comfortable doing it. Grats to you both for completing it. I am looking forward to day 3 Saturday.

Congrats! You'll do great on W5D3. I actually preferred when I finished the intervals and just had the straight runs. TUrn on my tunes, get in my groove and just go.

Let me tell you all a secret: W5 D3 looks scary, but it's a mental run. You are totally physically prepared. The really hard run is W6 D1. It was so hard for me to start running again after the LONG walk between the two runs that I was looked forward to the second 20 minute run on W6 D2, where you can't let your motivation lapse.
