Question about days with large calorie burns

Hello!
So, I'm a pretty avid snowboarder and hiker - I go every weekend and spend two full days a week where I snowboard and/or hike pretty hard (moguls or glades all day, some backcountry hiking to ride down) so on my 1500-1700 calories a day regimen (slowly increasing this over the next several weeks) - I am just flat out ravenous and full of ridiculous cravings. I am trying to maintain a deficit...but not so much of one that I end up wanting to eat uncooked oats straight out of the box. Yes. This happened. ::Sigh::
I end up blasting through my pre-logged 1600 calories by 4 pm and then I want to do nothing but binge out on trail mix all night. It's bad.
I wore my heart rate monitor on a day where I took it "easy" and it said I burned around 2000 calories for a full day of riding. (This was a day where I was just riding hard, but no real moguls or hiking).
I'd really like to allow myself to eat more calories on a day where I snowboard so I can log more food and reduce my likelihood of devouring an obscene amount of mixed nuts.
How many more calories than my usual would you recommend for a day of MUCH higher than normal exercise? All my basic info can be found in this thread:

Thank you so much!! I'm going to Aspen in 10 days and I'm going to be hiking and riding some SERIOUS backcountry while I'm there - I would like to be able to fuel my body without feeling guilty about it!
...and to avoid more trail mix binge/uncooked oats incidents :grumble:

This happens to me too on days I hike. I probably burn over 1,000 calories on a good hike and at the end of the day I could eat obnoxious amounts of food...0

Take your already planned and accounted for TDEE.
TDEE / 24 is how many calories per hr you were planning on burning already.
Times however many hrs you were out there.
Total reported calories burned minus that figure.
Now you know how many calories above and beyond what you were planning you actually burned.
Now take same 15-20% or whatever deficit you took on original TDEE, to this value too.
Eat that amount back.0 -
I would look at it at a high level - your TDEE is roughly 2,000 for a 'normal' day. You are burning at least 1,000 more - so you can eat up to this amount more - tweak with intensity and length of your rides.
You are on vacation - don't get too stressed about the numbers, just try to keep them from not going crazy high.0 -
This is so much more realistic! Thank you0

Haha, okay I am willing myself to not be stressed about numbers and am willing myself to enjoy myself instead. I promise0
