    Aloha Robin!!

The good thing about opening the wine at 3:30 in the afternoon is that I was drinking water by 8 and I woke up feeling good.
Workout today and not much else. Got some movies to watch. Happy weekend lushes!

We are safe, thanks for all the well wishes. Unofficial snow total as of 7:30am was 32 inches. Clean up is still ongoing. Yesterday at about 12:30 when our plowman still hadn't come we decided to shovel. In parts of the driveway the snow was past my waist. We shoveled over 4 hours straight and then one of our very nice neighbors who has a snow blower came and helped with the end of the driveway where the snow was deepest from the wind and plows. Then our plowman finally came, he had to plow his own road to get out and help. If we hadn't shoveled the amount we did the snow bank made by our plowman would have extended past the husbands garage and blocked him in. There is so. Much. Snow :noway: So we were literally snowed in all weekend, we have no deck whatsoever just snow past my waist. Luckily my best friend wanted to get together tomorrow which I can't wait for because I've been in the house a week straight at this point. Usually I can at least get out with husband to go to the grocery store but with earnings and him home late we didn't get out last week at all and then the storm of course. It's supposed to be above freezing this week so hopefully a decent amount of snow melts.

As for drinks, they were had all weekend, what else is one to do while snowed in haha. Not sure about tonight, husband won't be home for dinner which usually means drinks for me but we shall see!

Just one Vanilla porter last night. I'm finding some love for darker beers, and I drink them slow enough that I can feel good about just having one--I don't slam them like lighter/fruitier beers or vodka.

Gary, way to rock the jeans!!

Dot, I love a dark beer as well. I agree they work better with contol.

I have no idea how I am going to have control with the parents here and this big party coming up. :ohwell:

I'm that way with red wine. I actually poured my 2nd glass back because I had enough.
    So 1 red last night.
    Probably the same tonight.

Not sure when I checked in last, but I drank pretty much every day last week and over the weekend. I had a race Saturday, so only had about 3 glasses of wine Friday night. Saturday night I had a little more and Sunday had none. I was going to not drink last night, but my husband came home starving, it was kind of nice out, and we decided to walk up to one of our faves for half price bottle night. 2 minutes into the walk we realized it wasn't so spring like after all at almost 6, so drove. 1/2 bottle plus about a glass last night. I plan on 0's till Thursday. Oh....that's only two days.....OK, no drinks for two days!! I have drank most days of February but have yet to get schmamered, which is my main goal for February. March, I'll work on drinking less days.

Last night I had a bailey's shot in milk. Not sure of the calorie calculator is accurate for that one, but it worked into my cals for the day.
Maybe I should try the dark beers, I probably would drink less of them!

Ashley, send me some self-control this weekend...I'll need it.

BTW, Sydney, did you ever hit that new number on the scale? You've been so good with the moderation.

Tomorrow is official weigh-in day and last week was dead even although I do see some other changes. But, it would be awesome if the damn scale just moved.

The darks I drink are calorie heavy- around 200, but are filling so you drink and are full. So then I switch to wiskey.
