Hi,

I am starting br when I have finished 30 ds (currently on day 16) I am wondering if anyone has used the adjustable weights with this? I understand that you have to switch between weights pretty quickly and wonder if I could do this quick enough using the dial?

Any input greatfuly received :-)

  • I have a 3 lb, a 5 lb and an adjustable weight that goes up to 20 lbs. So far I have only switched between 7.5 and 10 lbs on the adjustable - and I maybe fell a few seconds behind. I also have paused the video to get weights ready.

I never thought about getting adjustable weights. i just have reg. weights and have been using 5 and 10lb weights but thinking about getting another set just because hubby likes to workout with me and that way we both can have the 10lb or whatever weight we need. When I'm at the store today I'm going to look at the adjustable weights. Thanks for the idea.

You have to switch pretty quickly between weights and sometimes use 2 sizes incombination in the later workouts. I think adjustable weights would be too disruptive. For example switching between 3s for supermans then 10s for plank rows, then back to supermans etc....I have 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 lb dumbbells and I'm constantly switching between them.

    Thanks,

think I will try and get some 8 lb. Already have 4.4lb and cast iron dumbells with weights that I can use for heavy, really want an excuse to buy those adjustable though lol! Maybe chalene extreme after br :-)
