Push Up Progression

So, I was talking to a friend who is in the military and known for her fitness prowess. I asked her about pushups. I've never been able to do a real pushup, even at my fittest. So her advice: First, get off your knees. Then, start by going to some stairs, and do your pushups with your hands on the fourth or fifth stair, and progress from there. You can also use a chair or something else that's about 2 feet off the ground. Just thought I'd share that. It's a mini goal of mine to do a real pushup. She went from being able to do none, to now doing 30.

    Thanks. I struggle with this too! I have done Level 1 for 2 weeks because I tried level 2 on day 11 and I couldn't do all of the excesses in plank position. :(
