What do you do if you get sick?

I'm currently sick and it seems like I've been sick on and off for the past month or so. Should I still be eating the same amount? I still exercise when I feel up to it but don't when I feel really run down and sick (like today, for instance). Should I decrease my calories during these times or will that mess me up? I am currently consuming 1900 calories a day at a moderate activity level.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I am sick to and tried lifting on Monday. I have to say I tried but I gave up half way through my workout. I felt drained. Going to try again today. This was a great question to ask? I noticed not eating as much as I have been that I have been really weak!0

Your body is under enough stress being sick so why add to that stress by eating at a deficit? That would be the time to eat more. With that said I know being sick especially if it is stomach related you don't have much of an appetite. That is when I rely on my protein smoothies to make sure my calorie level remains high to fight off the illness.0

Thanks guys. I haven't reduced my calories at all, but I was just curious as I haven't seen much as far as results because of being sick so often, which makes sense in and of itself anyway. I'll try to get those calories in today but it will be tough because I haven't had much of an appetite and I'm already so behind for today. Luckily it's not quite a stomach bug but definitely some nasty virus...coupled with a cold from last week.0
