YSFE Vs MFP Caloric Calculations

I have noticed that when I burn calories on FE they do not match the calories MFP calculates. Does anyone know how FE calculates the calories lost or even how MFP does its calculations?

    In FE you can input your weight, height age and sex which it then uses to calculate calories burned. You can then create a custom exercise in MFP and manually input the time and calories burned at the end of each workout.

    I have no idea - but I know it is not matching the real calories I've been burning...

    Spend some money and buy a Heart rate monitor. It is worth it.
