I am trying to figure this paleo thing out but am totally confused. What are the correct carb/protein/fat ratios for optimal fat loss? Alos, are there easy and quick recipes? Everything I find on the internet is very detailed and lengthy recipes.

I tend to eat High Fat, Low Carb, Moderate Protein (65/15/20), but I'm not sure there is a right or wrong macro ratio for paleo. This just sort of "happens" for me.
There are a ton of simple recipes out there. Here are a few to get you started. Also, you don't have to google "paleo recipes". There are a lot of recipes that are naturally paleo or can be easily modified.

You can always make your own mayo and whip up simple chicken salads or tuna salads too0 -
I am currently on 50/25/25 (fat/protein/carb) which is working pretty well, but think I may bump up the protein and lower the carbs a bit0

Here's a great explanation of how many carbs to eat per day--

I'm currently in weightloss mode and aim for 70 g per day (recommended is 50-100g) so that I have a bit of leeway with hitting the macro and still being in the correct range.0 -
Here's an incredibly easy paleo meal guide. I use this for almost all of my dinners. Extremely quick, no fuss.

One more-
Here's how I've calculated my macros--
70g carbs : (20%)
protein macros is my lean body mass * .8 (to calculate LBM first find your body fat percentage or a reasonable estimate, and subtract your body fat from your weight) : (25%)
fat macros make up the rest of my calories. (55%)0 -
If you can afford it, the best Paleo book I have seen so far is Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfilippo. It is both a educational book, as well as a recipe book with 120 recipes and has specific meal plans for Weightloss, Celiacs, athletic performance etc..
It was around A$30/US0 -

I'm not sure anyone could say what ratios are optimal for fat loss. Some people do really well on very low carb, other people feel sluggish and can't maintain it. But in general I agree that high fat, moderate protein and low carb (or in my case, moderate of everything) is a good start and then see what your results are. It might take a few weeks to find your optimal fat loss combination.0

To echo what another person said - pick up the book "Practical Paleo". She has a whole section dedicated to Fat Loss - with an entire meal plan for 30 days. She tells you what to eat and what to limit or avoid. And her recipes are really good - not too difficult or time consuming. A lot of the foods she has you make in larger batches so you're not constantly cooking! She is also on Pinterest...look for Balanced Bites, and The 21 Day Sugar Detox. And her website is Balanced Bites, as well.0
