Hey everyone,

I just wanted to offer an explanation as to why I deleted the soap opera thread.

After reading the information, it seemed pretty clear to me that the emails that Martin posted between himself and Alan Aragon were intended to be private from Alan's perspective.

Alan has not only been very influential to my training but he's also been nothing but kind and generous any time I've asked for his input.

Even though we (people in this group) weren't the ones who published the private emails, I thought the respectful thing to do was to remove the thread.

It was a bit of a knee-jerk response on my part, and I don't hold anyone at fault and I'm not upset with anyone for posting it (I asked for it in fact). I'd hate to be labeled as a tightwad moderator-- this was just a "Hey, I'm guessing Alan probably doesn't want this info sitting around" so I removed it out of respect.
