Because of a move the last week of April, I am starting Whole 30 next week, but will be doing it through most of April.

    Feel free to add me!

My husband and I are starting in April as well. I have to travel for a week or two right in the middle of the month, so will do the best I can while on the road, but may end up having to restart when I return. I'm really looking forward to it!

I am starting one today but will continue for most of April, so I am in!
  • I'm in! I recently checked out "It Starts with Food" from my library and have since been reading up on everything I can find about Whole30. Excited to get started.

I think I'm going to have to. I have a massive Passover fail last night. I am also up a few pounds on the scale and I can tell my belly is a bit bigger from all the crap I've been eating lately. I really need a kick in the pants.

I'm in for April. I'll be out of town on business the first week of April, so that will be a bit of a challenge. I've been reading up on the Whole9 forums about "compliant" choices as various restaurant chains.

Did ya'll know about the hidden menu at Panera? Check it out - http://mypanera.panerabread.com/articlestips/article/access-into-paneras-hidden-menu/

Why the heck would they not advertise that?!?!?

Anyway, are most of you planning to actually log your food every day here on MFP? According to Whole30, you're not supposed to track food or weigh yourself.

Ooh I'm tempted but terrified of committing! I'll look into it a little more and see if I think it's realistic...

As it will be my fourth Whole30 and I'm curious about some numbers, I will be logging, but if it's your first, I wouldn't recommend it.

I'll be finishing mine up on April 2nd, but will most likely continue on through April into May! I don't log my food, but if anyone needs support let me know!

I think I'm going to try it, I just decided this week though and am just now looking up recipes and resources. Do I have to have the book? I don't want to spend the $40, and our library has a waiting list. If anyone has any great resources I'd appreciate it!

You don't HAVE to have the book, it's just helpful. There are a ton of free tools on the website you can use.

$40?! You can get It Starts With Food on Amazon for $17. But, no it's necessary. It is very helpful though!

I'm doing a "clean 30" through my gym. It's basically the same but they're saying "only dairy if you really have to". So I'm in.

I want to. Oh, God I want to, but I'm not sure I can risk it at the moment.

I mentioned doing a Whole30 to my mother and the first thing she said, staring me in the eye was "You'll lose weight again" and - goddammit - I think she's right. Not counting calories at this point and not implementing a bit of dairy (cottage cheese, mozerella on my veggies, etc) will mean weight loss for me - particularly because I'm not that big a fan of coconut oil or drinking coconut milk.

Sure, I can still make gains or maintain on a Whole30, but I'm not sure I can risk it at this point - when I'm at my goal of 60kg (BMI 22) I'll gladly join a Whole30, but holy crap am I jealous of you lot right now - my Whole30 was extremely relaxing.
I *might* join in a "not count calories but still eat a good bit of dairy" kinda way, or if I can find some good substitutes I like to keep the cals up. I'm not sure.

Anyway, good luck and enjoy your Whole30 - I now I sure as hell did. :)

I'm in for my 2nd one, but I'll still be tracking my food. I tend to drop too low on my calories if I don't. :/

I just started one today too! I am very excited. I am going to try not to step on the scale, that will be the hard part for me.

Yup I'm in and "scale is not my friend" anyway so no issue not seeing it until the end of the month. Feel free to friend me.

Oh, man! I was so in until I read through the Whole30 guidelines and realized I have to give up my almond milk lattes because of the sugar free syrup! :noway: :noway: I officially started Crossfit today and thought it would be a great combo.

I am interested to watch y'all progress. Good Luck!!

I'm in! Started today. Feel free to add me as a friend but please mention Whole30 in the add request.

It's my first Whole30 and reading the book has been a major eye opener for me. If you have the opportunity/resources available to read it - DOOOOOO ITTTTTT.

I've already put my scale in my kids bathroom (because really, teenagers? no way I'm going in THAT room)... I'm too OCD not to log my food so I'll still be doing that I'm sure.
  • I'm in for my second!
