I have been following these plans for a good while now! Recently I started having trouble with acid reflux, indigestion, bloating, belching and even shortness of breath! I went to a nurse practioner and she thinks its acid reflux and gave me meds! Well! Everything I have read indicates to lower my fat intake! Wel that's completely opposite if what caveman do! So someone please off advice on what would a cave women do to feel better! I already bought and started taking digestive enzymes as well as apple cider vinegar!

I'm having similar issues, though mine is mostly abdominal pain and belching. I've been starting to wonder about the fat intake also, so I've cut back on it and I seem to be doing better.

I had acid reflux and IBS my whole life. Large amounts of fat never agree with me. So, while I adhere to a paleo way of eating, I don't eat copious amounts of fat. I have to keep it low to moderate.

Ok so if you had a measure of how much fat you take in where would that fall? And now I am going to have more trouble increasing my calorie intake! I don't always measure my calories intake but sometime I I have to eat extra fatty things to make sure I eat enough! Thank you!

I don't have a measure of how much fat I ingest in a day. If I saute some veggies or meat I try not to use more than 1 tablespoon or 2 of fat. If I eat salad, no more than 1 tablespoon of oil. I don't add fat to foods just for the sake of adding calories. I use it as needed. Also, if I happen to pan fry up some type of patty I always drain it on paper towels.
