Why not be here? What do I have to LOSE???? A lot - ha! I'm almost down 100 and it's getting harder for the weight to come off. This challenge pushes me to try new things I wouldn't have before.

I am here because I am fat! I do not like being fat! I feel gross! And, its time to lose weight. I have tried just about every diet out there and none seem to work. My sister is doing great with MFP so I decided to give it a try.0 -
i'm here to challenge myself to do better during the month, sometimes for me it is better to know what the exercise of the day to try for so things don't get stale.

I am on here because when I get stressed or tired I start to slack and lose motivation quick!! By being on the challenge I at least push myself to do a little something each day instead of just vegging on the couch. I hate letting other people down so I push myself each day not only for myself but for the amazing, supportive friends I have made on here. I feel that without this challenge/team I would be right back to where I started. Instead I am moving forward, it may not be fast, and there is the occasional set-back, but overall I have made progress toward the goal of being the healthy person I want to be.0 -

I'm in this challenge because I enjoy the variation and love to see the success of others! I'm moving away from weighing AND gaining some major strength lately, so I won't be continuing on for another month (don't want to screw my team since I'm gaining more muscle mass than I'm losing fat these days), but I'm definitely enjoying it while I can!0

I joined because I enjoy the daily challenges. Since I don't have a gym membership and I work and go to school quite a bit it is nice to have something to mix up the workouts that I can cram into my already busy schedule. I also love the people on here and enjoy being a part of this group.

I joined this challenge to be part of a group of like minded people who care about health and fitness. The first group I was in, "Drop it Like it's Hot", fizzled out and this one was formed. I was really worried I would have difficulties with the challenges, but I have been able to modify most of the challenges that I am unable to do the conventional way.
One of the most important reasons for joining is accountability. I do not want to let my team down. I feel I have fell somewhat short of that lately and need to get my focus back.0 -
