Does this not matter anymore? Is it the fattier the better, or should I look for the leaner stuff?

I'd say, it depends on your goals - nutrition/health/fitness goals, macro goals, etc.0

I'd like to lose about 10-15 lbs, but don't have to do it in a month......More importantly, I'm doing this just to get rid of all the nasty chemicals and hopefully stave off the arthritis, heart problems, and diabetes that run in my family. I'm also looking forward to the extra energy I will hopefully gain!0

If you are buying grass-fed/grass-finished beef, fat doesn't matter...eat up! If you are buying conventionally raised beef (i.e. grain-fed), get the lowest fat, drain it and eat a source of good fat with it like coconut oil, avocado, olive oil, etc. The fat is where all of the chemicals/antibiotics end up.0

check out grassfedbeef.org if you want some good meat. i'm just about to place an order there, and have been thrilled with my past 3 shipments (one of which was just 8lbs of bacon. don't judge me!)0 -
