Just took this! I scored a 25, moderate BED> I really liked this for a few reasons. Even though some of the questions didn't apply to me, I realized what I don't do. I (typically) always know when I'm hungry or not..I don't question it. I know my poor behavior is me being hungry and then eating to fight off something else. I can learn from this : )
Oh, and thank you!!0 -
Strange...I scored low...11. I guess because I almost always control my urges??? But when I don't - LOOK OUT. Perhaps the urges are more normal than I thought? Or maybe some of the choices on the quiz were either "none - I'm totally fine" and then the other 3 options were almost the same as each other and seemed too extreme, so I picked the "none". if that makes sense....0

I scored a 34, sounds about right.0

Just took this and I scored a 15 (no disorder). I answered for how I've been feeling in the past few months, but I know if I had taken this test six months ago I would have scored much much higher.
I'm over the moon as it's really shown me how far I've come and how my attitude towards food has changed recently, becoming a lot more moderate. So hooray!!0 -
I scored a 23...wish it was lower lol0

Scored a 19 which I thought was very accurate. I agree with the earlier post, this helps to show you how far you've come. I definitely recognized some old patterns that I have overcome. Thanks so much for posting.0

I scored a 39... I didn't even know I had this disorder.. I thought binge eating was starving yourself for a week then eating everyting until you puke.. i guess i was wrong..0

I scored 26, high end of moderate binge eating behavior. I think the score confirms how I see myself.
Btw, I'm new to this group, just found it a couple of days ago and will probably hang out here a bit0 -
I scored 35... Does anyone have some advise on how to fix this FOR GOOD!? I eat really healthy and eat normal portion sizes (do not over or under eat) for about 2 days but then on the 3rd day if the slightest things go wrong (for example, can't go to the toilet properly or don't exercise in the morning) then i will just give up and then eat and eat and eat until i can't breath properly and feel as if i am going to explode! someone please help me!0

26 for me.
Sometimes I'm on thins tumblr and MFP so much that my mind's just one food and calories like 24-7. Then when a binge happens I'm like dude I should know better than to do this! Each bite of muffin is like x minutes of the treadmill rawr!!0 -
I got a 21. I figured it was in the moderate category. I used to binge every other day to begin with..now I seem to have a binge every 7-10 days on average, and hope it gets better in time.0

I scored 23 (moderate)...not as bad as i thought, it shows i have made progress over the last few months. I still obsess about food, eat it, then feel guilty about having eaten it...need to work on that.0
-
I scored a 27, severe. Hopefully I'll knock it down quite a bit in a few months!0

I took this test a couple of weeks ago and scored something like 35 - severe. The beauty of this kind of a test for me is that it took me a really long time to admit I was a binge eater.. or that it was at all a problem. I thought others probably deal with it worse and I just wouldn't admit I had a disorder.
I was struggling with my own mind to handle it on my own or actually research and look for help. I eventually came to realization, I do have a problem, I do have a disorder (doesn't matter how severe) and looked for help. The forums have been a wonder to admit that I have a binge eating disorder and I have been about 2 weeks free Hoping to stay strong.
Thanks to you guys!0 -

I was sorta shocked. I figured the way I ate was, if not normal, not disordered. Restrictive phase right now so it was hard to answer honestly, but dude.
All or nothing. Thaaat's me.
*kitten*.0 -
an unsurprising 28 for me will retake after a few weeks to see if its worse better or still the same0
-
I scored a 27. One of the things that is so true for me. i think about food 24/7. It never used to be like that. Even when I was overweight. I am hoping that this group will help me control my binges. I am so tired of making progress and then binging for weeks at a time just to gain the weight back.0
-
And.... I was a 30. The scary part is years ago I'm sure I would've been closer to a 46. Its hard for me to even imagine not feeling those things.0
