I feel like doing a little celebration dance
I am new to ketogenic eating.
I had not twigged the carbs not being the same as net carbs thing. I have been diligently keeping my carbs colum total at 20g or under. I have been saving them for my avocado, spinage, turmeric. I was not aware the my fitness pal carbs were not net carbs and i need to subtract the fiber total from the carb total to get net carbs. I have been short changing myself for 3 weeks. No wonder I have had no problems staying in ketosis. I am off to store now to go get some broccali, courgettes and celery. I am easily pleased
ps. I tried a few links to make this site add a net carb colum because i like total simplicity. Most seemed not to work. The ones below work for google chrome and added a net carb bit inside my carb total colum and a pie chart of percentages for fats, protien, net carbs below my totals bit.
