Lol yeah I still do Anita moves but I also like this level! I have a cheap wrist HRM from walmart..I don't know how accurate it is though..Lol I still use it cause it's better than nothing...mine has a timer (stop watch) ,light,clock/date, calorie burn, and another mode but have no idea what it is lol...it does go in water but I don't remember how deep...it is a sportline...L3D3 completed..0

@tiznonay--yeah, I've been lightly stretching my neck and shoulders all day and gave it an extra minute or so at the end...it seems to be making today tolerable!0 -
Posting kind of late, but I complete Level 3, day 2. I took Saturday off as a rest day, and I was forced to take Sunday off by TOM. Cramps were so painful I couldn't even dream of doing 30DS at all.0

Completed level 3 D1 on Sunday, D2 yesterday and plan on D3 today. I'm a little behind on my posting LOL.
I prefer this level than level 2, I'm not sure why exactly but I do. I do struggle getting through a couple of the moves, the jumping lunges for one and the rock star jumps - yikes!0 -
Well I did Level 3 Day 3 last night and got up and did Day 4 this morning. I prefer to do it in the mornings if I can. I tell ya, kickin' butt!!! I do have to do some modifications, I generally start with advanced & then have to decrease to modified. Only 6 more days...wow! Not sure what I'll do next....still thinking. I was considering Insanity but I read a forum yesterday that a lot of people stopped doing it due to different types of injuries. That it is too intense and not enough recovery time for the intensity. Anyone here done Insanity? If so, what was your thoughts on it?0

L3D4 done..my muscles were a kinda sore and tight...didn't burn as many calories today .I wonder why. I've been wondering about insanity too..has anyone done it????..hope you all have a great day today!!0

L3D3 done today. I struggled through some of it and didn't feel I did as well as the first 2 days.I wonder if that means that maybe some rest is required. I don't really want to stop though. Does anyone else do that? Take a rest day because you're finding it difficult after a couple of days in a row?0

@hsh0927--I hear that. I didn't think my abs were in all that great condition but I haven't rreally felt sore or challenged on them until 3.
@Myrealname---I think you should take a rest day if you need it....strength training requires a day off to repair the muscle but the whole 30 DS thing is kind of a marketing gimmick. I'm tyring to stick with it just because I like tangible short goals
I"m probably going to do ripped in 30 next but space it out more for more rest days with cardio on off days. I AM getting some ab definition but there is a serious wad of fat jiggling around on top lol!0 -

I do that! Whenever I feel burnt out or like I am not giving it my all, I take a rest day and come back even harder!

I definitely take rest days, and it makes a big difference for me. I usually do 2 days in a row, then a rest day, then 2 more days. Once I did 3 in a row, and the 3rd day was horrible! I find that the day after the rest day goes really well. That's when I'm usually able to do more Natalie moves!

Level 3 Day 5 done! I'm so proud of myself for actually following through with this...I really do believe it's because of this group! I feel accountable. When I was eating horribley, I wanted to give up but I felt like I signed up for this so I have to finish this. Only 5 MORE DAYS!!! Interested to see my before & after pictures to see if there is any difference. I know I had a bad week or two in there with my eating but hopefully it won't hurt me too much.0

That's frustrating! I haven't lost weight or inches either, in fact, my thighs are a little bigger! I'm fine with it though because they don't jiggle anymore. I feel so much stronger!
A while back, I felt like I should be losing when I wasn't. I noticed my sodium intake was high so I cut back or eliminated foods high in sodium. It's surprising how much sodium is in so many grocery items! Any way, after that I started losing a couple pounds a week, with no other changes in diet or exercise. Do you watch your sodium intake at all?0 -
I did L2D9 last night. So, I'm behind you all, I've been working my way since the end of April through the 30DS. So, I've had lots of days away from 30DS. I am losing very slowly. Down 4 or 5 pounds in the past 2 months or so. When I've had 3 or 4 days away from 30DS, I've noticed some weight loss for no reason. So, I really think there is something to the posts I've read that with 30DS you don't lose weight till the end or till a few days after the shred. Just yesterday I was down 1 pound, which was like 4 days without shredding and one day after Italian restaurant, Lasagna, Italian bread sodium overload. So when you're done with 30Ds, have a few good sodium days, take a rest day, take 2 more days with a lighter workout or just cardio, and I'll bet you'll see an extra pound or two disappear. If that happens to you, please come back and post it. Good luck.0

L3D5 done! I had an unintended rest day yesterday for some family business, unfortunately.Level 3, day 4 with some elliptical training. Today is my weigh-in day, I gained .6 of a pound and lost 0 inches from the body. Awesome.
If its any comfort, you probably have lost fat but are simultaneously building your lean muscle. I recalculated my lean body mass the other day--I've gone from 96 pounds to 102 pounds since doing shred, even though I weigh practically the same.
but I think I"m going to get into Burn Fat Boost Metabolism for next month--I would also like to see the scale drop by at least 5 pounds in the next month or two.0 -

day 3 done! I had to take my first rest day yesterday, even though I really didn't want to. My body was just so exhausted and it needed a rest even if my mind didn't. I'm now glad I did it though, I slept better and my shins and back feel so much better now!0

Yeah, I've lost track of the days, but I've been keeping with it! At least 5 or 6 days of Level 3 done. But I've been switching between levels 2 and 3. Idk why, but 2 is a lot more challenging than lvl 3 for me
I wouldn't stress what the scale says so much. This week I upped the weight on my dumbells, and been trying to do more of the Natalie-moves. It definitely builds muscle - despite running every night, I gained a pound this week.

Day 5 done. I don't know, I'm not finding some of the moves getting any easier. Anyone else finding that? I'm particularly finding the jump lunges and the rock star jumps hard. I definitely can't get through the lunges all Natalie and have to switch back and forth between Anita.0

I don't even try to do the jump lunges anymore. I couldn't get the hang of them and was afraid I'd injur myself. I think the alternating are enough for met took 5 days, but I can do them now, ot at least do them better than I was at first. I think mine are somewhere between Anita and Natalie's.0 -

the moves are NOT getting easier...jsut a more nuanced form or pain lol. I also gave the jump lunges a second shot since I thought I was a little stronger....nope--- I could do them now, but they were just too awkward and hard on my knees. I just do anitas step lunges.
I'm also managing to get the plank exercises all the way through now, even if its anita's level. but I'm thinking of tacking on a day or two more of level 3 so I can at least reach Natalie's level.
I'm feeling more interested in banish fat boost metabolism next. I love what shred is doing for my muscles but I really want to shed some weight.0
