Hello everyone,
I too will be ordering Focus T25 and possibly starting a challenge group. I love Shaun T and absolutely cannot wait to get started! Please message me for details if you would like to order the program (or any other Beachbody program) or are interested in joining a challenge group. Feel free to email me at sheilasantiago01@yahoo.com for more details regarding Beachbody products.0 -
Mine is actually on the way. Hope to get it today or tomorrow. Can't wait, since I finish Combat next week the timing is perfect.0

I have a T-25 Challenge Group starting up this coming Monday (8 July) if anyone is interested. And, NO, you do not have to sign up under me to be part of it. It doesn't matter to me who your coach is, what your upline is or even if you are coach. I just want people that will participate in the Challenge and help the entire group stay motivated. If you would like to be part of it, please message and I'll tell you the name of the Facebook group..
Good luck to everyone jumping into T25!! I feel it's going to be an awesome program!

I ordered it yesterday. Love Shaun T, Loved insanity. So I am in!!!! Just not sure what all I need for equipment yet. Does anyone else know??0

For the Alpha and Beta phases (the first 10 week program) , it only needs the resistance band that comes with the package.
For the Gamma phase (another 4 week phase and another set of DVD's to purchase) you need some weights for it..0 -
I'm also starting t25 Monday!! I have a total of 100 pounds to lose and it's a little intimidating for me but I WILL stick to it!!!0
-
1 week in & I am loving Focus T25!
I am sore!
I can not reach the level of calorie burning that I got with Insanity doing these Alpha workouts, but I can see how we may get there in Beta and beyond.
I have the Gamma DVDs as well. Already have the dumbbells from ChaLEAN Extreme.
I can not wait until more people are doing it. I'd love to chat more about the workouts & various moves, etc.0 -
I started Tuesday!! :drinker:0

Day one in the books for me today. Alpha Cardio. It wasn't easy, but I made it though it. When doing some things with Shaun T, you notice how uncoordinated you can be. LOL.. This is going to be a great program. Challenge Group started today for any others that might interested. Just PM me for details.

I have done a few of the workouts but am officially starting the program today. With Insanity I felt like parts were too hard so I'd give up. This one seems just hard enough. I also felt Insanity was too repetitious and T25 is much better witht he ones I've done so far.0

My box finally arrived today in time to start with my Challenge group. I am super excited!0

Ordered it today!!!0

Day 2 complete. Great program, great workout. However, the moves really throw me right now. Just as I had to learn the moves in Combat, I having to learn these too. I looked very uncoordinated and pretty much drunk this morning during Speed 1.0. I'm going to have to do this one a few more times to get these moves down. But, just like with Combat, it's not going to deter me, it makes me more determined. Everyone have a great day.0

I've got mine and am starting it with a challenge group on Monday, July 22. If anyone wants to join our challenge group, PM me and I'll give you the details. Will be fun to do it with a group and motivate each other.0

Today is Day 2 for me as well!! Love that it's only 25mins!!!0

I'm switching from Insanity to T25 today on advice from my doctor. Though I'm going to jump right into day 3 of T25 since I've done the first two days this week of Insanity.0

Total Body is a whale of a workout. I didn't get near as confused on the moves today as I did yesterday, but I had to watch a few to get the "multi-moves" he was doing. Like I have mentioned in my Challenge Group today about this routine: "Lunges, Burpees and Push Ups, Oh My." Squats too, but they didn't fit in the "Wizard of Oz" ripoff.0

Can someone tell me what T25 is????0

Why did your DR. Tell you to do T25?0

Can someone tell me what T25 is????
Focus T25 is Shaun T's (Creator of Insanity program) new workout program. It consists of 25 minute cardio based routines you do 5 days a week for 10 weeks. To be totally accurate, you do 1 25 minute routine Mon-Thurs and then you do 2 routines on Fridays with Saturday and Sunday as off days. It's broken into 2 phases. Alpha and Beta. (There is also a Gamma phase available that adds another 3 DVD's of routines and 4 weeks onto the program) Alpha and Beta phases are both 5 weeks each. Just being in the first week, I haven't done all the Alpha phase routines yet. But, from what I'm seeing is it's a mini-Insanity program made up moves from all his previous programs (Hip Hop Abs, Rockin' Body, Insanity and Asylum) They are awesome 25 minute routines and they will kick your butt. I'm a 2 time graduate of Insanity and I struggle throuhg some of these moves. You don't have much time to work out, this program is your answer. Hope this explains a little better what it's all about.0 -
Why did your DR. Tell you to do T25?
Although I don't know her situation, I can tell you the big differences in the two progams.
The biggest differences in Insanity and T25 are:
1. Time.. 25 minutes routines (T25) versus routines that go anywhere from 36 to 65 minutes (Insanity). However, the 36-65 minute routines do have built in rest periods, the 25 minute ones have ZERO rest periods built in.
2. The plyometric work in T25 is more "hopping" than it is "jumping." Insanity's Plyo work is a lot of jumping and it can be very hard on the knees.
3. T25 offers "modifications" to the moves. Tania is always over to the rightside doing modifications to each move the rest of the group is doing. Lower impact, less stressful. Insanity does not have modifications being shown. You have to make up your own.
Just a short list of differences. But, they are, what I would consider, major differences.

I may have to give this one a try when I finish Turbofire. It sounds like it would be good!0

Today is Day 4 for me and hard to believe that I am almost through the first week. I love the quick workouts and am getting a nice burn from them. I look forward to tracking my results each week.0

It has some similar qualities to Turbofire, so you'll proably like it a lot!0 -
Just knocked out my first Double Friday. Lower Focus and then Cardio back to back. That was NOT easy. When he got to the second "burn out" in Cardio, with about 5 minutes left overall, I was truly burnt out!! But, I managed to push through it.. Got one heck of a kcal burn today too. I'm really liking this program!!
Also, I've a few people from here join my Challenge Group for T25. I you are interested, just PM me and I'll tell you where the group is located on Facebook. Join a great group of T25'ers keeping each other motivated. Everyone have a great day!!
