I am looking into purchasing some grass fed meat (beef and chicken mostly, but others if available). I have seen some in the local market where I live, but the prices are much higher then I expected. I wanted to compare prices if I bought in bulk and straight from the farm and see if that was a cheaper option. I am not sure if there will be a difference, but I would like to do some research. Does anyone have any recommendation of a farm in NY that sells grass feed meat? Or anywhere really since some farms ship the meat frozen. I would like a NY farm so that I could go there and check out the farm myself. Might be a cool trip. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
