21 day Atkins challenge

Anyone with me, I just finished a one day carb up, NOW I have 21 days until Sept. 1st, I want to lose 18 pounds by Sept 1st, So I am going on Induction for 3 weeks, If I make it I will be under 300 pounds for the first time in over 20 years!!! ,, Come on Lets Do this!! anyone else want to push hard for 3 weeks? Join me

    Very Nice a GOOD group of people, Lets Keep the Carbs very low and Force that scale to move down, lets see how much pounds we can all get off by Sept 1st, I am very excited for all involved!

    good to have more joining, we have 3 solid weeks, Hold Fast to your induction standards and the weight will fall of us

    8/11 -Day1 - breakfast: 2 eggs fried in butter with spinach, ff cheese and mushrooms and canadian bacon

    breakfast today was, 4 eggs, 1 ounce ham small amount of grilled onions and mushrooms, some grated chedder cheese, around 3 greams total carb, LETS DO THIs!
  • My breakfast today was 3 fried eggs with cheddar chese on them 60 gm and black tea without sugar
    400 cal, 35 gm protien, 2gm carbs and 31 gm fat, it was delicious

    i hit 18 grams yesterday, so far today only black coffee, with vanilla sugar free flavoring!
  • I am in. lets do this ! I want to be 15 pounds lighter by sept 1st. so for dinner,I am going to be eating 1 grilled chicken quarter with a cup of steamed broccoli.:happy: :happy:

    I ate to many carbs on my 1st and 2nd days of induction because I had a few glasses of wine, and fried chicken and nuts I underestimated how many carbs were in each. I am going to buckle down tomorrow.

    Day 1: 26 g
    Day 2: 62 g

    Nalita is dropping weight fast, I got home from my beach trip, now I have 15 days ahead of me with no road blocks, time to crank up the Ketosis, and induction and kick some pounds to the curb, lets do this peeps

    Day 5 and only down .1 but hey a loss is a loss. I did a lot of weights yesterday and I could be holding onto some water in my muscles. It's a total of 4.5 lbs in less than a week so I'm not complaining.

    Better late than never! I missed the firs few days...but since I just had my 29th Anniversary on August 14, we went out to dinner last night. I'm just getting started on the low carb way of eating and I need lots of ideas...I'M IN!!!

    i lost 3 pounds this week, i wanted more, but ill take it, I may have to fat fast if i am going to make my goal by sept 1st, good to have more people on board, lots of time still

    How many calories is everyone eating? Or are you even counting calories? New to Atkins! :)

    nope dont count calories, I have lost 65 pounds in a little over 3 months and have not counted a single calorie yet. I often laugh because I know if i did count the calories I was eating on Atkins the weight loss would seem impossible ( the calories are high), but atkins used to refer to this as the metobolic advantage

    I lost 4.4 pounds this past week and this morning I had gained 2 lbs. Yesterday when I was cooking dinner I starting sampling in order to insure the food tasted good. A few tbsp of candy yams later I ended up eating rice and red wine etc. Once I got a my first taste of sugar in a week my cravings for it came back and I had them today as well. Tomorrow is another day, so I am getting back on track. Good luck everyone.

    Thanks for the response and dont give up! My family loves eating bread and pastas in front of me but everyday it gets easier to not even be tempted :)
