Hi everyone! Welcome to "Just for the Health of it - Weight Loss Warriors."

My name is Carli.
I have lost a grand total of 148lbs, I'm down 90lbs from my MFP start weight.
I have PCOS and I am trying to lose some weight, build some muscle and keep getting healthier!
I am currently:
173lbs
5'8 ft tall
Size 8-10 Women's

Bust - 31.25in
Waist - 31in
Hips - 37in

    Hi My name Is Ricky I joined this site over a year ago but didn't come on for ages and have actually put on weight in the year. But now I am back and taking it seriously,

    I currently weigh 242 pounds and am looking at getting down to around 180 pounds I want to lose belly fat and build muscle and tone up.

    I am 5ft 11 tall
    and xxl in t shirt
    waist is 46in

    I will keep coming back on here everyday feel free to add me could do with some support and support others :)

    Thank you for this group cm because it is very helpful and what you said is very true. You can make time if you want to lose weight and excuses if your not up for it.

    Hi my name is Angie, I am a mother of two. I have been struggling with my weight for years and I am tried please help me to help myself. I lost weight before years ago, but I am getting it all back.

    Hello, my name is Simeko, I'm a 32 year-old full time doc student who is tired of my weight fluctuating. This year I decided to take dominion over my flesh and began to be consistent about it. I started out at 271.3 and I'm currently at 233 with the hopes of loosing another 20-30 lbs before the year ends! I've realized that I loose weight in the kitchen while getting fit in the gym, so...needless to say, I hit plateau but now, I'm in the kitchen focusing on eating clean foods! So, let's do this and keep this weight off for good ;-)

    My name is Sarah, I'm 29 and started out at my heaviest 350 at the beginning of this year. I think this group is perfect for me because even though losing weight has a lot of aesthetic perks my main goal is being a healthier person.

    I'm still in the beginning process of losing weight so I still eat a lot of the things that I like probably more often than I should but I've goten way better at eating it in moderation. I do my best to get exercise in, even if it's just a little bit here and there.

    Hey ! My name is Kalah I have 4 kids, I'm trying to lose 15lbs not to be "skinny" but because that's where my body is at its best !! I just do "living room workouts" and run/jog! Lol feel free to add me :)

    Hello! My name is Amy, I'm 43 years old and have 2 boys ages 12 and 13. I would like to lose between 15 - 20 pounds. I am currently maintaining my weight with jogging, walking and doing light weights 3 - 4 times a week but I really need to concentrate on my diet which isn't horrible but isn't great either. With working full-time and two boys who have us running them all over the place it's difficult to eat healthy but we need to try! Looking for support and will be happy to give support!!

    Hi!! My name is Tee. I am trying to lose 10-15LBs. This has been my goal for the longest but I have not been able to reach it because I just end up doing the same things I've done in the past. I currently work out to maintain my weight but I know I need to clean up my diet more and ramp up the workouts. It's hard trying to juggle work, being a full time student and working out. I am motivated by seeing others' daily progress and hopefully others will be motivated by my progress as well.

  • Hey all!! My name is Jill, and I just joined today! I am a stay at home mother of 2 boys, ages 18 months and 4 years. I have packed on the pounds since having children, and for the first time am feeling motivated to shed them.
    I have been dieting and exercising (Zumba and the 30 Day Shred) for the last 5 weeks and have lost 10 pounds. My goal is to lose an additional 60 pounds. I have many things motivating me right now. First, Myself! (obviously) My husband: I want him to say WOW! That's MY wife. My children: I want to keep up with them! They don't stop, and I want them to always have memories of Mama playing alongside with them. And last but not least, my mother in law: Whenever we are alone, she likes to make little jabs about my weight. Cannot wait to lose these pounds and rub her nose in it!! (She's overweight too by the way) ;)
    I know I have a long way to go, but nothing can stop me now
