BTL, I'm glad you have backed off on the 2500 calorie deficit per day. That really did have me concerned, but I'm not your overseer. Still I celebrate your initiative. Just as Mark said though, slow and steady will win this race. (Something I have to keep telling myself too.)
Mark, I plan on rocking the Santa suit this year. Next year is when I hope to be too low to be picked as a viable suit filler!0 -
Dan--it's not the gut that makes a good Santa, it's the ho ho ho's.

Decided to shift my weekly weigh-ins from Mondays to Wednesdays. The volatility from the weekend is usually settled down by then. Also, since I don't normally lift on Tuesday nights, the water-retention factor from healing muscles should not be an issue.
The only reason I weighed in today was because I didn't want to go too long without an update. Great to see all the successes this week! September is going to be a GREAT month.0 -

A downward trend! I have not had a super fast start to September but I have to admit I am proud of myself for sticking to it and I know it took my 33 years to get here and it will take more then a month to get back!
I also know that next week is going to be amazing for me because finally my husband and I got our bills caught up ( he had lost his job in june and we had fallen behind while he got new work) and I can spend a bit extra stocking my fridge and not just worrying about the kids school lunches!
The problem now I am planning on leaving my job this is a very stressful decision for me but one that I think is critical for my future! I am a firm believer that one must not do a job just to be employed but that you should also value and love your work!!! I have lost all respect for the company and their values, and it is taking a lot of self control to not quit right now!0 -
