I finished C25K a bit ago and have been running constantly since then. My question is I am going on vacation for the whole month of September and there is no way at all I will be able to run. Am I going to have to start all over again come October and I start running again?

You will need to rebuild, but not from the beginning. rduhlir had me walk a minute after every half mile when I took a week or so off and it helped me get back in shape. Once I was able to run the two miles straight through, it didn't take much to be able to run 6 miles again.0

I had an enforced 5 week break. I also started off with run/walk intervals, that was 3 weeks ago and I'm almost back up to my previous running distance, the only difference is it is a bit harder this time!0

I keep having to take breaks, I tend to just jump back to a point in the programme I know I can do with confidence: I'm currently back at week 3 after having about 6 weeks off to adjust to some new medication. I just figure that an easier run done successfully is better than thinking about doing a harder one.
I was told years ago that every time you get fit it makes it easier to get fit again, so that's what I keep telling myself
Good luck!0 -
Ive just had a three and a bit week break due to having a virus followed by a ten day holiday. Before the break I had managed to get up to week 8 and was running 25mins. Started back last night and have planned to do 20mins/22mins/24mins this week, then next week try to do 26mins/28mins/30mins.
Once Ive cracked running for 30 mins Im going to try to increase my speed therefore increasing my distance.
That is the plan anyway! x0 -

This is all true and good advice.0
