Day 17 of 90

Focus T25 Week 3 Day 3

Today : ALPHA Lower Focus (My least favorite !!)

I thought I would try and count the squats I did today to see just how bad this Squat challenge I started is going to be...I lost track of lunges and squats after 50 each...sweating and burning to bad to count anymore lol Lower focus is brutal!
One NSV I had yesterday, I was only 3oz away from my 96oz water goal for yesterday....they say you should drink half your body weight in oz's of water...but damn, the intense feeling when I gotta pee reminds me of when I was prego lol

    Good morning! I am about to finish day 20 of the 30DS, which means 10 days left! Yay! I also have Zumba tonight. Have a great Wednesday!

    Great job ladies! I'm on day 12 of the 30DS, but decided to flip my workouts and did the walk/hike this morning since it's supposed to get up to 90 later. It will be much later this evening though (unless I squeeze it out on lunch) because tonight we are going to meet Michael Symon at a local book signing!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

    I have to follow the beginner still on the 30DS and modify the last exercise because my knee is still really killing me. I don't know what I did to it. I am icing it but man it hurts. I just feel like I can't stop exercising now that I got the bug and am making so much progress! Walking with the light (very light) handweights and pumping my arms has done wonders for my walks. I'm not usually dripping in that much sweat after a walk, and now my neighbors have gotten motivated and some of them want to join me!
  • Not doing any exercise this AM because I have to shop for the girl scouts this AM. First meeting of my Junior troop tonight. Will try to get some in this afternoon....but it is going to be hot in NJ today again. Might not exercise until tonight after the meeting, we'll see.

    Heather...I never drink enough water. If I drank as much as you're doing, I would never leave the bathroom! lol Getting older is just as bad as being pregnant when it comes to peeing. But....good for you for trying! I've been getting about 33 oz of water (3 -11 oz bottles) a day....but I also have a cup or 2 or 3 of decaf tea during the day, and sometimes soup for lunch.....so I hope I'm getting enough water that way. As it is, I always get up at least once during the night to go to the bathroom. Luckily I fall back asleep easily.

    Completed Upper Body Transformer - still struggle with Burpees. I can at least do them now but very slow and wonder if I will be able to do them as quickly (with the jumps and turns) like they do on the DVDs!!! The good news is that I am challenging myself to do them and not do the modifier.

    I know what you mean about the water thing....my boss has to think I have bladder problems. I can go hours without having to go pee but once I start, it is constant. I try to get 2 liters down a day. Sometimes when I leave work I have almost all of the second liter to drink so I make myself drink it all before pulling into my driveway. I know once I get home I won't drink it.

    Got the Shred in on my lunch, so now I can relax and enjoy our outing later! If it cools off I may go for a short walk after little man is alsleep, but I already did what I wanted to for today between this morning and lunchtime, so I may give my poor knee a free pass!!!!

    Awesome!. Got my Focus T25 workout in this morning Beta RIP'T Circuit. I'm doing my doubles tomorrow instead of Friday. This is my last week. I can't believe how fast it's gone. I'm taking a rest week and then may do another round. I went to the doctor today and I've lost another 6 lbs since I started the challenge. I don't weight myself everyday just every couple of weeks. I still have 10 lbs to reach my goal so this challenge should help me get there. Everyone have a great day.
  • Well.....it was miserably humid and very warm in NJ today. Shopped all AM for girl scouts, then came home and did paperwork and prep for gs meeting. Then my grandchildren who take the school bus from my house arrived after school. Fed them dinner, went to girl scout meeting with youngest granddaughter. Great meeting, but the hall we have our meetings in was very warm. Got home and my daughter showed up with her son...so he and his sister (the youngest granddaughter) are sleeping over here. I was really tired at this point, but my husband called me on the way home from work at 9 pm and asked me if I could make him dinner. ARRRGGGGHHH. I just wanted to go to bed. But I made him dinner and figured I would muscle through some exercise.
    I just finished another 45 minute, 3 mile watp with weights for 1+ mile (my favorite watp video). Now I'm dripping sweat, still really tired, and need some water!!!!!!!!
    Talk to everyone tomorrow! :D

    Didn't do the work out I was scheduled for but switched it for TKO Fat Blast which is one of my favorites. I am pondering buying a beginner's yoga workout and incorporating it....maybe switch between the workouts every other day. Being a couple weeks from turning 49 I don't have very good flexibiity anymore and I catch myself in bad posture while working out too so I definitely think it could help more than hurt.

    I also did 35 squats while straightening my hair this morning....getting ready for the squat challenge I joined that starts up October 1!!!
