In the past whenever I made something too spicy I would always attempt to recover the recipe and bring the spiciness back down to bearable levels by adding some sort of dairy-based product. Is there a paleo-compliant way of achieving this? Something you can add to the food which will help you recover the recipe from adding too much red pepper/hot sauce?

I usually add more liquid and more of the other ingredients in the recipe to distribute the spiciness over more volume. Does that make sense?0

It helps but I was hoping to avoid simply increasing the quantity. Not always an option for me.0
