Freaking out a little since my weight loss from week 2 to week 3 was more than I expected. I am hoping that the 5 workouts this week and the clean eating is what is making this happen and not some fluke. Either way, full steam ahead.0 -

Freaking out a little since my weight loss from week 2 to week 3 was more than I expected. I am hoping that the 5 workouts this week and the clean eating is what is making this happen and not some fluke. Either way, full steam ahead.
When I first started the challenge with my son* on July 1st, 2013, my loss rate exceeded 2 lbs/week. My personal trainer (same son), increased my food intake every two weeks for about 2 1/2 months until we found the point where my body was maximizing food metabolism. Even with the food increases I still lost weight so if you are eating enough calories to support your weight loss goals (MFP has a great tool for determining the number of calories you need to be eating based on your current weight and fitness lifestyle) and you are drinking 8 - 10 cups of water, you probably don't have anything to worry about.
