Lifting ability is still down and endurance is still off. Stick it out? Up something? Cut out something? I'm so lost and a little frustrated. Thoughts or experiences please.

It's hard to say, since your diary isn't open. Are you eating enough calories for as active as you are? How many carbs a day are you eating? Are you carb cycling, doing ketosis? Eating enough fat and protein?0

Haven't been tracking as I've been maintaining weight/clothing fitting etc so I haven't stressed about macros/calories. Def eating enough calories but I feel like I'm lacking in something. I'm taking magnesium and trying to hit potassium rich foods as I know those are the most common missing key ingredients. I do eat fruit/sweet potatoes because I'm not trying to go super duper low carb. I know my body doesn't enjoy that at all.0

Might be a good idea to track for a week or so to see where you're at. Still don't worry about hitting numbers or anything, just track to put numbers to what you're doing naturally. That will give you a base to figure out what's going on.0

I struggled with my lifting for the first 2+ months. I was diagnosed with T2D on April 14 and started keto shortly after. It took me quite a while to get accustomed to my new 'normal'. Now with almost 6 months under my belt, I have a new baseline for my new normal.
I don't do cardio though and when I run out of steam, I'm OUT. Like a light. It's like a switch turning off and turning on, Maybe you need to increase your carbs, but I agree with logging for a week to see where you're at.0 -
Not sure if you run as well as lift but I have found the only way I can exercise works for me is to not run the day after lifting.I can run 3 days in a row but no running after a lifting day because I don't have the energy.
I run fasted and I lift fasted.
I generally have 60 fat/25-30 protein and 5-10 carbs.
I was very tired initially when I first started lifting and struggled with it but now that I am 4 months in,there are no issues.
I think it took me about 8 weeks before I was really settled in to it.
I have been eating paleo off and on for 2.5 years now0 -
once I increased my fat I was better, I wasn't eating enough fat to keep up with how active I was...as well as not eating enough , that s the thing with paleo , you don't need to count calories, your body need more by the sounds of it for how active you are0

Liquid L-Carnitine and coconut oil really helped me transition with no loss of energy. the L-Carnitine helps burn fat calories for energy--I'd take 1 tsp with each high fat meal (1000 mg per tablespoon). Coconut oil is burned as energy without being processed in the liver, so it is more easily used for energy by the body. Using those two things, my transition was so smooth that it was unnoticeable. Easiest way for me to take the coconut oil is to mix up 1/2 cup with 1/4 cup almond butter and a tiny sprinkle of stevia--I eat a tablespoon or two as a mid-afternoon and evening snack to stay on an even keel and prevent cravings. Turns liquid after you mix it and let it set, so needs to be refrigerated for best texture.0
