Just re-started BR and yup. I agree... I let out a huge sigh and some swears when I remembered the good old running man move.

Yup, I loathe it too, I just have to keep telling myself it's there for a reason, although that reason just might be to cause me maximum pain!

I could not agree more! I would rather do suicides for 5 minutes than running man for 1 minute!

I remember when I did this program last year I was SO glad when phase 1 was over because that meant no more running man. Until I got to phase 2 and it was in one of the workouts as a cardio interval. UGH!

Haha they're both awful, I will admit that. But there's something about running man that just fills me with a sense of dread that NO other exercise does :P

OK Does anyone do another move besides running man when were supposed to be doing it? I know its good cause it's kicks your butt and yada yada but it's freaking HARD and it hurts my back. Is there something else we can do that's less painfull but still effective?

Oh no! I start Workout 11 and 12 next week. I am excited to reach the end but nervous. Workouts 9 and 10 have definitly been my highest calorie burn during this program and I just can't imagine what she has in store. How is 12?

We need a running man support group.

I do C1 every day because I love it, but in my head it's never "yay, circuit one down!", it's "one less running man left to go!".

At first, mummies were tough too, but at this point I turned almost every other move into some dancey fun version. Except running man. Because it's basically worse than getting punched in the face. It's not just hard, it feels so awkward!

Running man, we are not friends and we never will be. >:(

LOL!!! Amen to that!! :) Yeah, running man is killer. I am not the biggest fan of mummy kicks. I can handle suicides (didn't say I love them, but I can handle them), but those two moves are the ones I dread doing. The running man is number one on that list though!! :)

Running man, I do not like you. I have to close my eyes and endure you. I do it because Jillian says for me to.

OMG! I HATE running man. I'm doing the program for the second time starting this week and today is Cardio 1. I am not rushing to get home. I can't wait for Cardio 3. It was my favorite.

Cardio 3 looks crazy hard but I guess because the exercises are only 20 seconds each it probably flies by. I'm still scared to try it in 3 weeks time!

I kind of feel like Cardio 2 was worse than 3. It really does fly by and in the second circuit you even skip some of the moves. You wind up doing a lot of the cardio moves throughout the workouts in Phase 3 so it helps when you only have to do them for 20 seconds rather than a minute straight.

Running Man makes me want to cry. Seriously I get very emotional --they push me to my limit. Weird reaction but there it is.

And Running Man is in workout 6! I thought I was done with him!!! Cardio 2 kicked my posterior end this morning! I brought my husband coffee this morning after the workout; he looked at me with an inquisitive grin on his face and said, "good workout?" LOL

I also now have 3, 5 and 8 lb weights since she often says, "medium weight" and I only had my light (3) and heavy (5). Now my heavy is 8 lbs. What are you all using and how do you know when you should move up?

Jillian uses 3, 5 and 8 through the entire program. I always use the heaviest I can manage. When the heaviest weights I own become easy for certain exercises, I'll go and buy some new heavier ones.

Haha, my mom seems to hate running man as well. I just don't get it. I hate anything plank or push up related.

I actually only have one set of weights; they're adjustable from 1kg to 5kg. I currently have them at 3kg and I just use them for all the exercises. I don't have the money or space for multiples, and it works for me. I plan to continue with W9-12 after I finish as part of my maintenance and I hope to work up to the full 5kg and then maybe invest in a set of 6kg-10kg.

I like to have them heavy enough that I struggle a little, but I need to be able to complete all the sets without flipping a table in frustrated fury.
