I'm about to turn 25 years old, 5'6 with about 60 pounds to lose. What do you recommend for macros first starting out? Or max grams of carbs and sugar?

I just began Keto last month. Lost 17 Lbs so far. I have my Macros set at 5%, 20%, 75% (carbs, protein, fat). My diary is open to all if you wish to take a look. Feel free to friend me too.0

For macros - 65-30-5 is pretty standard. A lot of folks find higher fat provides even better results (fewer cravings, able to stay in ketosis more readily). I target 70-75% fat; 20-25% protein; 5% carbs.

I don't do anything really technical yet. I mainly follow the diet doctor advice and eat as much meat, cheese, fish, fats and above ground vegs as I want although I do allow myself 2 slices of toast for supper (with lashings of butter of course lol). . I'm losing weigh atm so not going to do any extra calculations yet. Looking at my past records I seem to eat on average 10% carbs, 64% fat and 26% protein.0

You can take anything Kira says to the bank, she's right.
I personally recommend getting a copy of The Atkins Essentials (2002 edition) and read each section as you get to it. It answers most of the questions, and can be had from your local library, or for $4.00 from Amazon. ($0.01 for the book, $3.99 for shipping)
I have a copy in my car's trunk right now, and I keep a digital copy on my bedside Kindle.
Congrats on your birthday, be happy, that is a wonderful age to be. You can rent cars at regular rates!0
