Ahhhh! I was about your size and weight when I was your age. (I peeked at your profile!) Oh, the "good old days!"
Kudos to you for being proactive while you are young and in good shape! I would encourage you to build as much muscle now as you can! It will pay off later. I wish I had been more in touch with fitness as a young woman. I figured I did not have to worry because I was small and slim! And I stayed naturally slim into my 30`s. But if I had built more muscle when younger, it would be easier to maintain slimness now!
So, good for you for looking ahead! If you make the improvements that you are talking about now by adding some strength training, it will pay dividends!!0
