    Overrate and still maintained within my calories. (Went over protein, oh well) ???? this year I skipped making dessert, it was a last minute game changer which turned out for the better. Phew lol ????

    I was going to allow myself 4000 calories today just in case instead of my normal 2000. I only ate 1721 calories today!!!!! I didn't have one bite of any dessert! I stayed away from the food so I wouldn't be tempted and when we did eat our meals I only had the turkey, mashed potatoes and noodles and small portions! I am so so so proud of myself!

    I DID IT....I DID IT!!! I didn't change my calorie amount for the day. I got on the treadmill this morning for an hour. I had everything I wanted, even dessert. I came in under....not by much, but still under calories. I am so proud of myself!! YIPPY!! :bigsmile:

    I did it as well. I wasn't sure I was going to make it to the gym this morning but I did. The rest of the month should be easy now.

    Did I stay within my calorie budget today? Yes I did, under in fact and no I did not up my calories for the day either to avoid any temptation.

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 58 minutes of oh dark thirty walking & boy did the air smell deliciously of turkey & the trimmings :bigsmile:

    Thanks! Congrats to you too! Yes the food was very tempting but I just stayed away from it as much as I could and just focused on chasing my 11 month old around. Which is a lot of exercise in itself. Lol. I weighed myself yesterday morning and this morning and I even lost .7 lbs yesterday by eating good. Which makes it worth it even more considering I usually over eat and gain 2-3 lbs from Thanksgiving.

    Phew!!! I set my calories up to 3500 (usually 1200), but after working out on the elliptical for over an hour and tons of extra movement recorded with fitbit (cleaning, etc) I came in around 1300 total for the day (including 3 slivers of desserts)!!! WoooHOOOOooo!!! So relieved and so proud of everyone that made it thru such a challenging day!
    I have one more Thanksgiving gathering on Saturday that I'm hoping to come out of successfully. Early morning workout really did the trick!

    Thanks! So far so good with sticking to the plan. Already burned some major calories and kept it light and healthy with breakfast. I did up my calories for the day so I can celebrate (moderately) with family, but I'm feeling great so far about coming out successfully by days end. Thanks for all the encouragement you have been sharing with everyone. You are doing awesome as well!!!
