Wow, completely agree about number 5. I didn't even think about that, but it's triggering for me too when I think about it...when plus size models are actually fairly "thin" or not really plus size. It makes me feel like "normal weight" is "overweight."

    1. When I've made a mistake (this is the same trigger for anxiety and panic attacks)
    2. If I miss a meal (because I either don't eat for the rest of the day or I binge all evening)
    3. My mum, who always comments on my weight/size.
    4. Adverts and articles about weight loss 'wonder products'
    5. TV shows or articles about ED when everyone is much smaller than me.

    My top 5 motivational tools:

    1. I stopped weighing myself and only use measurements and a body fat caliper.
    2. Using plastic containers to divide my 'high risk binge foods' (eg. big bags of tortilla chips) into smaller portions.
    3. I stopped buying fitness magazines, as I think they're even more triggering for me than regular womens magazines.
    4. Every time I think about purging, I drink a 'detox' tea instead, and take some rescue remedy.
    5. Trying to keep my streak going on MFP.

    1.having mostly skinny friends
2, seeing my previously thin self in photos
    3, Sugary food
    4, My Mother
    5. Feeling unsuccessful

I want to change this cos I relapse recently...these are all triggers yes, but the main one is Trauma. After something that reminds me of trauma it triggers my PTSD which in turn triggers ED. What a domino effect. Yes that means I had a traumatic event happen recently.

    5. Eating out/away from home

That's a big one I didn't put....I'm always afraid of not knowing how much calories the food has when eating out and then at friends and families I'm always afraid they are watching what I'm eating or a lot of times they do make comments about how much i'm eating so I eat more just so they don't make comments, then I freak out when I get home about how much I ate!
