Sounds good! Drinking water is always a challenge for me so I'm looking forward to this challenge Thanks!
Water - 64 oz (according to calculations I s/b @ 115 oz / day)
Exercise - 22 minutes0 -
I tried to watch your video but it says no video found, I don't know if that was just me though because I am trying to view from my phone. And the other links didn't work for me either! But I'm sure I can just Google water intake.
Can't wait to get started!0 -
That is a lot of water! wow -- My calculated water intake with an hour of working out this morning are:
136 ounces! I am drinking another litre of water before bed so I should be at 139 oz before sleep. Though I'll probably be up 10 times tonight to use the bathroom -- but that's exercise!
Also I had no issue with the video -- it was great!

I did not so great on water today. I drank 68 oz but I should be drinking 122.
I rode my bike today for about 30 minutes (a rarity in January!), walked my dog (20 minutes), and went to Zumba (60 minutes).0 -
Wow I was really not getting enough water! ;-)0

Yes, I was afraid that it would not work on the phones, i will do some research and see how to get the videos on the phones also. Sorry about that.

I didn't get a chance to check out the weekly challenge last night so I will do it first thing this morning. I have a nasty cold so didn't get the exercise in. I got in pretty good water, but not where it should be. I'll check out the challenge and double up efforts today... cold or no cold!:bigsmile:0

My calculated water intake amount is 124 oz. Let's see how that goes today! I am starting off the morning with 16 oz od H200

Hope youfeel better Mimi!!!0 -
Holy cow, according to this site I should drink almost 4 liters a day!!
And I thought that with my 8-10 glasses (2-2.5 liters) I was good...
Okay, I will try to increase my water intake during the week, but I doubt I can reach 4 liters...
So far no exercise minutes for me (still on sick leave), but I will try to do some Pilates later.
Mimi - get well soon, and don't overdo it! I tried to be back too early and promptly had a relapse :-(0 -
1/13/14
I got in my water and did 20 minutes of boxing [punching bag]0 -
Wow, 172 ounces? I definitely need to increase my intake!
Went to the gym today for 30 minutes of combination cardio and strength.0 -
11 glasses and 30 minutes of Pilates :-)0

After some debate, I dragged my butt out of bed this morning and ran on the treadmill. I made it 3.5 miles in 40 minutes. I would love to run an 11 minute mile but am firmly at 11.5 for now. I can run the first mile in 11 minutes but can't really maintain it for longer than that. One step at a time, right? Literally!!!
I am up to 68 oz. of water. I'll drink more when I get home.0 -
Love the video
wow cant believe how much water i should be drinking, iwas falling foul of the 8 glasses, but really pushed it up a gear today, carring my bottle with me all day, i know how many time i have to fill it to meet my quota. Driving and needing to pee dont work very well though.
Exercise ive managed 30 mins so far.
should be able to fit in 200 this week.0 -
Day 2

Thanks for your get well wishes. It's funny how something like a ordinary cold can make a person so tired. I didn't push it today but will put in some longer workouts this week to make sure I get my 200 minutes. I ended at 86 oz. of water today.0 -
1/13 45 min exercise / 320zs of water
1/14 00 min exercise / 24ozs of water
Not a good day, hopefully tomorrow will be better.0 -
Ok I have not been doing the water thing. Its hard to be drinking that much and not be in the bathroom all the time at work! What is the physiology of the water? Is it just to feel full? I will try tomorrow.
I am doing good on the exercise. I did 30 minutes of ellipitical and 15 minutes bike tonight.0 -
Water was definitely easier today -- Target 124 oz. and drank 128. I spread it out a lot more over the day than yesterday. Managed to convince myself to do a 9:30p in-hotel-room workout for another 30 mins.
90 mins total exercise for Days 1 & 2

defiantly pleased with my process, 4 more lb off this week, im well on plan to meet my 12 week target. 1lb a week over next 11 weeks should be doable.
I do have a big weekend away and a few family meals out over the next few week, but i will prepare and plan. And should be ok.
30 more minutes of exercise today, so 60 in total so far for the week. And more to come tonight.
Water - im trying.0 -
1/14
Stacking wood- 60 minutes, punching bag-15 minutes
Water 10-8 oz. glasses0 -
I am not reaching my water quota! But I'm drinking more than I was, so I guess that's progress. I drank a full bottle at the gym this morning and am working on another 22 oz. this morning. Here is an article about why water is important: http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/6-reasons-to-drink-water
For me, I think it helps get rid of bloat. It just seems to flush things out!
I made it to the gym again this morning - yay! Today is my easy day, so I did 10 minutes on the bike to loosen up and lifted weights for 30 minutes. Last year my goal was to get my butt to the gym. This year it is to keep going to the gym and start doing more toning. So far so good!0 -
Drinking water has never been an issue for me, but right now I'm feeling like I'm going to float away. I trying with the water, but 187 oz (plus additional workout oz) doesn't seem to work for me. I always judge my water intake by my urine output and color, so I'm going to cut back a little bit. The teacher cannot run to the bathroom every 20 minutes because she is drinking that much water0
-
Everyone is doing such a GREAT job with this challenge!!! YES... I agree the water intake is alot. I have yet to reach my target. Just trying to add a little more each day0
-
Been reading something about water intake and over diluting your sodium causing hyponutrinia (sorry cant spell). Apparently your body will as a rule expel excess water but if you start getting headaches you might need to cut back a bit.0

Mon: 8 glasses
Tue: 11 glasses, 30 minutes Pilates
Wed: 9 glasses, 38 minutes walking
total exercise time: 68 minutes0 -
Adding another 35 minutes of kick-boxing, to my tally, would have been longer but i split my trousers. ha ha.
total 95 mins so far for the week0
