Summer 2014 Weight loss challenge

Hey ladies!

Summer will be here sooner than we think and I don't know about you but I don't relish the thought of looking back and wishing I made a real commitment to shed the pounds. I remember this challenge which was started by Yana150 last year was a big success and very popular within this group so I'm thinking why not do it again for this year.

Like last year this will be non competitive just a place where we can come together and support one another even if you have no weight loss to report but you may have a NSV or want general chit chat.

The challenge will begin today and end on June 30th 2014.
I officially weigh in Sundays but you can choose which day your comfortable with.

Let's see if we can hit or surpass our goals.
So post below if your interested and include your stats, you can join any time during the challenge dates.

My NSV's by the end of the challenge are:

1) Go down to a size UK 14

2) Exercise minimum 5x a week & complete a Turbo Fire schedule.

3) Look good in a one piece (toner tum)

    I am up for this, I intend to be at my goal weight or my end weight by August 9th so this actually fits right in.

    1. Tone up and build some muscle - this morning I went to move my 8lb hand weight and needed both hands -- so so sad!
    2. Develop a at-home-workout routine
    3. Run a 10 minute mile

    okay I"m in, but I have no idea, how I"m gonna manage, my life is all about nursing my baby right now, and trying to eat healthy when I have the time to eat !

    CW: 307.6 ( lost 32.4 lbs of baby weight, she is 9 weeks old)

    GW: 286 (pre-prego weight 21.6 to go! )

    NSV's

    1. Regain my strength and fitness level prior to conceiving baby.

    2. Feel comfortable in the skin I'm in.

    3. Consume more produce.

    4. Eat mindfully.

    5. Reduce emotionally eating.

    3) Look awesome in short shorts

    4) Complete a 5k

    5) Run a full mile non stop.

    6) Get to my goal weight!

    2. Get down to a size 6

    Hi! I'm Shareefah. I'm definitely in. I would like to use this challenge to reach at short term goal. My long term goal is to lose 80 pounds, but I don't want to put that type of pressure on. I would like to push for a more attainable goal first so that I don't become discouraged.

    Hi everyone! I was at my lightest when graduating fro college, but 5 years, 2 career changes, and one wedding later I have put on some pounds. My husband is currently deployed, so I'm using this time to whip myself back in shape!

    okay I'm gonna set a goal for this week. My baby is gonna be 10 weeks and I'm feeling more like myself since the c-section, I feel I may be able to do some fitness, if not that atleast start, helping my hubby clean around the house.

    Weekly Goal:

    1. Be kind and patient with myself.

    2. Log all my food.

    3. Move more ie gentle exercise, cleaning.

    Serene, thanks for you support since I've come back, I appreciate you ! I just need to be patient and kind to myself that's all. I've been out of commission for almost a year.

    Other Goals

    -lower my carb intake
    - lose 2 inches of my waist circumference
    - Tone my arms and tummy
    - Fit into my favorite pair of jeans I've been holding on 4 years to in hopes they might yet again fit me (you know what I'm talking about :wink: )

    So far, its going great. I've been consistent with my workouts and right now my mini goal is working on my endurance this week.

    So far so good. Had a great workout today. My mini goal this week is to focus on my nutrition and exercise at least 5 times this week. So far, I exercised 3/4 days. woohoo. Hope everyone is staying focused on that sexy bikini body! If anyone needs support; please add me as a friend! I'd appreciate your support as well.

    Hello All;

    I just started my weigh loss tools today after my back injections, I have a bad back. The doctor stated the less I weigh, the better I will feel, so now I can at least start walking again. Looking forward to getting this winter weigh OFF. So I say all that to say I'm IN.

    1stGW: 170 (by June 26, 2014 - vacation)
    2ndGW: 165 (by August 11, 2014 - spouse family reunion)

    Goals:

    1. Not to be in pain.
    2. Enjoy playing and lifting new grand baby.
