It varies from person to person, I usually wear a heart rate monitor to gauge it

I log all my training activities in Training Peaks (predominantly I use it for triathlon training, it syncs nicely with the heart rate monitor/GPS, easy to schedule with etc.), and have my Training Peaks linked to MFP. When I put in my BJJ workouts in TP, I consider them "cross training," but MFP doesn't really know how to handle that, so they show up in MFP as.....snow shovelling. Which makes me laugh every single time.
