Helpful hints/tips?

Do you have any helpful hints or tips that you have found successful? Please don't include anything your doctor specifically told you, unless it can be generalized to a group. Please remember, just because something works for you, doesn't mean it will work for everyone!!!

One of my favorite things on my smartphone is an app called Mila's tools. It helps me convert all kinds of measurements, liquid and dry and keeps my diary as accurate as possible. It's a really helpful tool, and if I am not mistaken, it's free and it has tons of measurement conversions!!!!

    A digital kitchen scale can be your best friend. There's no better way to be accurate. I bought a pocket-sized scale off Amazon that works for me. I usually only cook for myself, so I don't need anything huge. I just put a small snack-size tupperware on top to hold whatever I'm weighing.

    WOW!!! I didn't know they made a scale that small, that's awesome especially for travelling!!! Thanks for sharing. I found something else on another forum that might be of interest to our group here. I just copied and pasted what the MFP user posted, so those are her words exactly, but I thought the information was helpful.

    I used to watch this show on Fit TV before it merged with discovery health. Most of these recipes take less than 15-20 min to make and use natural healthy foods. They come in handy if you don't have lot of time and might be faster than driving to a fast food restaurant. These recipes were tasty and healthy when I used them.

    I love my digital scale I don't know what I ever did without it.
