    Hi everyone! I'm new and hoping I'm doing this right!! Looking forward to losing this weight with all of you!!

    I had a bad couple of weeks at the end of January, so am kind of doing a Groundhog Day - same starting weight for the month, same goal! Let's hope it doesn't repeat itself all over again - LOL! I had a bad cold at the end of the month which didn't help, and a bad attitude which resulted in gaining back all that I had lost in the first two weeks. I am slowly getting back to the good habits that helped me get this far, one of which is preplanning meals at least one day ahead.

    I'm so freakin happy! I wasn't feeling so great about this week but my weigh in today totally surprised me.. all of my hard work is paying off!! :D Everyone is doing so awesome, and Leanna, you've got it this month! :)

    I’d like to join this group if I may, on the recommendation of a friend who says you are a great group. I no longer have 100+ pounds to lose, I am down 66 pounds with 86 to go. About a year ago, I was down 100 pounds, but medical issues kept me off my feet for the better part of the year and I put 40 pounds back on. Hopefully those issues are behind me and I can continue the journey. I’m back on MFP, logging everything every day and exercising five days a week and lost 12 pounds last month.

    this is my 5th day on the Weight Management program thru UofM, still anxious as this is the hardest thing I've done for myself. I'm not sure if I can believe that I'm losing weight, it seems a little surreal. Here's to next week! :flowerforyou:

    Not a great drop, but its at least in the right direction. I'm just disappointed. I saw a 238.8 on the scale Saturday and haven't seen it since. :cry: I've had a bit of a calorie creep this week because I've just been HUNGRY. I think I've got it now. :wink:

    Quick check-in between trips. I'll hit it again when I'm home next Sunday.

    SW: 430 (All time high weight in 2006 was 475.)
    CW: 295.1
    GW: 287 (I'm travelling half this month. I may not make it, but gonna shoot for it! Hope for great weather in DC starting the 8th. I plan on walking a LOT if I can.)

    Welcome Chuck. I fear I've become the token male in the group. M23prime is still around, but I haven't seen many posts. I'll be out most of this month too with business and personal trips, but I'll check in when I can. I don't feel like stripping off my clothes to post a picture and partake in the younger men's forums .I find that, to keep me on track, I need to talk about my successes and failures.
