Mini Challenge

So as this week begins to wind down and we move into the weekend I am happy that so far I have been able to hold myself to my personal challenge this week of 10k steps a day. It has been a tougher challenge than I expected especially having a day that i was not able to make it to the gym, had to force myself to move to get the steps in. This being said I have spent some time through the week trying to decide on my next challenge for next week. So starting Sunday going through to next Saturday I have decided to challenge myself to 30 burpees a day. I doubt that I will be doing all 30 back to back but the point is just to reach that number each day for 7 days. This will be in addition to my gym training classes and running. Will prove interesting to see how this 1 goes. Feel free to join in for the week if you like.

yuck I hate burpees but I will join your mini challenge just to be supportive and to torture myself as I know I must have done something bad enough to subject myself to it (or I will put it in my back pocket and use it for a wild card at some later date) :grumble:0

What is a burpee to you? To me the word means the price of fabric used to protect you clothes from a baby's spit up. So you see why I'm kind of confused. ;{0

Guess it would have helped had I added in what a Burpee was. There are a few different ways to do them I will be adding the push up to mine but you do not have to. Here is another link that will help explain how to do them. :happy:

OK so started the mini challenge last night and got in my 30 burpees as 3 sets of 10 with a 10 to 15 second rest in between each set.0

I didn't time them or anything - I just did them randomly throughout the day and evening - did I tell you I hate them? lol I didn't do any before work this morning so now I have to get em done before bed :yawn:0
