My dad is still in SICU as they wait for the swelling to go down so they can close his chest back up. He is on standby for surgery today to close his chest assuming his physician approves the surgery. It was looking hopeful yesterday as they were able to get him off of at least three medications that I know of.
The hospital is across the street from my university so I walked over during lunch yesterday to see him. However, this means I seriously underguessed my food. All the walking with my bookbag, purse, and lunch bag caused me to walk more steps by dinner than I often do in a whole day. By 6 pm I felt sick and ate a bar I found in my bag (which was god knows how old). We did dinner out because feeding me was the priority -- I felt better and walked 4 miles when I got home as "stress therapy".0 -

I really messed up at dinner tonight! My hubby talked me into going to a Chinese Buffet! BIG MISTAKE!! I definitely won't be doing that again anytime soon. My sodium was way, way over! My calories at dinner was a crazy amount, but thanks to my walking and Chevy I managed to stay Green.0 -

Almost went Red in beer calories, then (after midnight) went through the drive through for some mozzarella sticks. Got up and went to Zumba this morning, so feeling good about that. Thankfully this challenge helps me keep my socializing in check in terms of calories. It's so hard to have that balance.
