how much weight have you gained

total 7-8 lbs so far. I'm hoping to only gain 7-8 more pounds. I hope I can do this.
If your starting weight is 214 and your current weight is 214 then your "gain" is 0 pounds. You count from your pre-pregnancy weight, not the lowest weight you've reached since being pregnancy.
I guess I should change it then. But I'm counting from when I first weighed it at my doctors office.0 -
32 week check in yesterday and I've gained a total of 17 pounds. I'm hoping not to gain any more than 25 and stay under 160pds, we'll see how it goes! Still hitting the gym 4-5 times weekly for 60-90 minutes, belly and baby measure right on target so I'm happy! I do feel huge and miserable though. 8 more weeks to go!0

well, if you know you started at 214 at 6 weeks then that's your starting weight. NOT 207. That's just not how pregnancy weight gain is calculated.0 -

I am not sure what the doctor's numbers are at, cause I dont even pay attention. I keep track of what I knew I was prepregnancy and what my scale says I am now. It is easier to me that way.0 -

Today would have been my due date based on my LMP so I'm super excited I kept my weight at 25 pounds so far. I had an 8 week ultrasound which pushed my due date back a week so I have up to 3 weeks left. I've stopped logging my food again but seem to be doing an ok job at not gaining too much and I'm so close to the end I just don't care. Looking forward to being done, this baby is super low and getting in the way.0 -
35 weeks today and weigh 139.2. That's a half pound gain from last week. Starting weight was 115 @ 5"4 so I've gained 24 pounds so far. I'd like to keep it under 30 and I get induced in three weeks so I think that might be feasible baby weighed 5 pounds 6 oz yesterday at ultrasound so even though I stopped my freakish weak gain, he is growing great. Good luck ladies!0

Happy to see the weight gain has slowed some! Whew! However, I have gained over a pound due to Valentine's Day/eating out/thinking I'll fail my GD test and trying to sneak in a few naughty meals I wont be able to indulge in if I fail. Hopefully I can do just 10 pounds in 3rd trimester and I'll meet my goal of 25 lbs! I'll be taking the Gestational Diabetes Test on Saturday. Hoping to pass it again! (Failed 1st pregnancy, passed 2nd pregnancy).0 -
I gained no weight in my first tri, 18 pounds from weeks 13-29 and none in the last three weeks. No idea what's going on! I'm still eating at 200 above maintenance, but wondering if I should increase it another 100 at this point. I started with a healthy BMI and this is the first pregnancy I've tracked. I wonder if I'm just not quite having enough now...0

The stomach bug hit our house last week. I'm sure a lot of this weight is water as I was really unable to drink much of anything, let alone eat. I wasn't able to take my GD test yesterday, but will be tomorrow. It was probably best not to take anyway as my appetite is really just starting to come back today. I know my MW is not going to be happy with my weight loss. This drops me back down below my pre-pregnancy weight again. Although, the scale I have been using at work was moved over the weekend and I can't guarantee the accurateness of it, but my scale at home was around this weight as well. Hoping to get some extra water in my body.
SpunkyChelsea - How did you make out with your test? I've been doing the same thing over the past couple of weeks as I had GD with my first. I totally know how you feel. I hope you passed!!!
Great job to everyone!!! Can't believe I am in my 3rd trimester!!0 -

GOAL: Only gain 25 Lbs during pregnancy.0 -
Great job, bburg!!!
Got the call about an hour ago telling me I passed the 3 hour GD test. I was kind of surprised. My MW wasn't all that upset about my weight loss either. She said to just keep eating a balanced diet and as long as the baby is growing and is healthy I should be all set.0 -
Prepregnancy: 5'4" 145 lbs
Current at week 11: 151.8 lbs
My goal is to only gain 25 lbs
I am a little bummed because I don't think that I would have gained so much already if I hadn't gotten pregnant right before the holidays! I'm just trying to keep active and continue tracking on MFP. My weight has actually been fluctuating a lot and I'm wondering if the fact that I have been continuing to lift heavy while upping my calories (instead of being in my prepregnancy deficit) might mean that I am gaining muscle too.0 -

Proud to have only gained 28 pounds this pregnancy! However I'm still pregnant and still gaining. If I don't track my food I gain 2-3 pounds a week and if I do track I gain .5-1 pound a week. So I need to track but I guess increase my calories a bit so I don't go crazy.
Best of luck to all you ladies, hopefully I don't have to do this again next week!0 -

Momma2Charlie - AMAZING about passing the GD test! Congrats! I take it on Saturday, so I hope to find out the results on Monday at my appointment (my doc said she should find out by Monday, so even if she has to call me later I should find out that day). So I still have a little more waiting left. Nervous as crap! She hast told me she thinks I'll fail since I missed it by 7 points at 9 weeks. So now it's just getting it out of the way.
dandelyon and MSpradling18 great job on your weights and agree anything after 40 weeks to eat is fair game! Best of luck with labor!0 -
36 weeks today and weigh 140.2. Last week I weighed 139.8 so my weight has certainly slowed down even though I'm eating way more. Starting weight was 115 @ 5'4, so I've gained a little over 25 pounds and I'll be getting induced in 2.5 weeks! I'm very happy this pregnancy because I'm still working out at least 4 times a week. Keep up the good work ladies0

I'm only 9 weeks today, so I have pretty far to go! Gained 45lbs with my previous 2 pregnancies, so I'm really hoping to gain less this time! Maybe I will finally figure out self control! lol I always seem to gain a lot in the first trimester (AND the second! lol). I find it difficult to eat below 2000 calories, so I'm trying to exercise enough to balance out my calories. It was my goal to only gain 25lbs, but upon further reflection, I think 30-35 is a more reasonable goal for me...knowing myself! I unfortunately gained 15-20lbs since my husband returned from a deployment this summer, so starting this pregnancy at a higher weight than I'd hoped. I'm hoping to have a home birth, so its important I stay strong and keep my blood pressure normal!
