how much weight have you gained

Proud to have only gained 28 pounds this pregnancy! However I'm still pregnant and still gaining. If I don't track my food I gain 2-3 pounds a week and if I do track I gain .5-1 pound a week. So I need to track but I guess increase my calories a bit so I don't go crazy.
Best of luck to all you ladies, hopefully I don't have to do this again next week!0 -
Momma2Charlie - AMAZING about passing the GD test! Congrats! I take it on Saturday, so I hope to find out the results on Monday at my appointment (my doc said she should find out by Monday, so even if she has to call me later I should find out that day). So I still have a little more waiting left. Nervous as crap! She hast told me she thinks I'll fail since I missed it by 7 points at 9 weeks. So now it's just getting it out of the way.
dandelyon and MSpradling18 great job on your weights and agree anything after 40 weeks to eat is fair game! Best of luck with labor!0 -
36 weeks today and weigh 140.2. Last week I weighed 139.8 so my weight has certainly slowed down even though I'm eating way more. Starting weight was 115 @ 5'4, so I've gained a little over 25 pounds and I'll be getting induced in 2.5 weeks! I'm very happy this pregnancy because I'm still working out at least 4 times a week. Keep up the good work ladies0

I'm only 9 weeks today, so I have pretty far to go! Gained 45lbs with my previous 2 pregnancies, so I'm really hoping to gain less this time! Maybe I will finally figure out self control! lol I always seem to gain a lot in the first trimester (AND the second! lol). I find it difficult to eat below 2000 calories, so I'm trying to exercise enough to balance out my calories. It was my goal to only gain 25lbs, but upon further reflection, I think 30-35 is a more reasonable goal for me...knowing myself! I unfortunately gained 15-20lbs since my husband returned from a deployment this summer, so starting this pregnancy at a higher weight than I'd hoped. I'm hoping to have a home birth, so its important I stay strong and keep my blood pressure normal!

I would say that as long as you are eating a balanced diet and are not hungry you should be fine. If baby is growing, that's a good sign whether you gain or lose. I haven't gained anything yet, but baby is growing right where it should be.0 -

Looks like my appetite came back after the stomach bug last week. Today's weight isn't the most accurate, but it will have to do. I was weighing myself at home (my scale had the needle) and then logging my weight from the scale at work (it was more accurate than the one at home). Well, they moved out some cubicles where the scale was located and put it away so now I am going to have to go by the one I have at home. I'm a little bummed, but it should still work. I am at every other week for appts now too. I'm always heavier there because I go at night Oh well, I just need to stay in control of what I am eating and I should be fine. Can't believe I only have about 11 weeks to go. Hoping to keep the weight gain to a pound a week if possible. Keep up the good work ladies!!!0
