Two teaspoons of peanut butter with five small celery sticks.
Fat Free Cottage cheese on crackers0 -
Sargento reduced fat cheese stick
Laughing Cow cheese wedge with a few rice crackers
1/2 a Quest protein bar
PowerCrunch protein bar
Hummus on rice crackers or now branching to veggies in the later stages of my diet progression
1oz of smokey gouda reduced fat, (Trader Joes) on a honey crisp apple0 -
An apple sliced with a bit of nonfat plain Greek yogurt with a tad of cinnamon and a packet of Equal. It is heavenly! It was one of the first "treats" I was given way, way back when I first become diabetic (1984.) Of course, back then the yogurt wasn't Greek. The snack if filling, full of fiber and protein too!0

I will be two years out of RNY in Jan. and my favorite snack is Jello sugar & fat free cook'n'serve chocolate pudding made with skim milk. One box makes 4->1/4c servings with each serving only 35cal.
Remember, I'm now on maintenance- and there is virtually no nutritional value to this 'snack'...but it's so chocolatey delish I just had to share.

Beef jerky, cheese sticks, trail mix/ almonds, and Greek yogurt.0

Jello sugar free pudding cups! I had one every night once I was allowed to eat. My favorite was the vanilla choc swirl, just found the DuLeche. In a pinch, I could throw some protein powder in it to increase my protein for the day.0

Pleasure! Hope to get a few more ideas from experienced (weight) losers! Us newbies have a lot to learn from them!0 -

I love Protein chips http://www.nashuanutrition.com/store/snacks-and-treats/healthsmart-protein-chips-sea-salt-and-vinegar-1-bag.html they are different from regular chips but tasty. My favorite is Sea salt and Vinegar but there is a Pizza flavor, Barbeque flavor and ranch flavor.0

Agree with the above suggestions, also string cheese, raw nuts such as almonds, hummus, also love the frozen original Fudgesicles (40 cals no sugar added).0

Dannon Light & Fit greek yogurt! It's SO yummy! I normally HATE greek yogurt but this stuff is fantastic. I've found that different stores carry different flavors. There's good ones like banana cream, toasted coconut, raspberry chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, key lime pie, etc. They seem to be the healthiest and most delicious greek yogurt I've found to date0

ice-cold sliced cucumbers with salt, lime juice and chili pepper - haven't tried this since surgery but it was a favorite before surgery!0

Greek yogurt can be done so many ways is ridiculous!
I think my favorite is greek yogurt mixed with PB2 and a little bit of Stevia. I'll then cut up an apple (honeycrisp are my favorite) and sprinkle cinnamon on it. Dip the apple slices in the yogurt and enjoy!
The other one I like is cheesecake! No, no, not the real stuff that's loaded with sugar! Melt a tablespoon of cream cheese in the microwave, then mix into greek yogurt. Add some vanilla, Stevia and then top with some melted sugar-free preserves. For texture you can even crumble up a graham cracker into it. It tastes just like the real thing.
Or, with yogurt you can go savory. Put some greek, or ranch or other dry seasoning into yogurt and use it for veggie dips. The ideas are endless.
Lastly, I've been on a pancake kick lately. I've been making Chocolate Monkey Pancakes stolen from Eggface's site. Make them with extra pudding or maybe a bit cocoa powder more than what the recipe calls for. If you go exactly by the recipe, they are a bit bland. I've even put PB2 in these things too. I can have two of them topped with a banana and some SF syrup.

Just keep in mind that my portions are sized for a large pouch of an 18 month post-op. I also tend to have these things as my fourth meal. I shoot for about 500 calories for each meal, which then leaves me about 500 for snacks.0 -

You can find the info online. Strawberry cheesecake for example has 9 gm of sugar. So, for newbies or even some veterans, that might be too much.0 -

I'm eating the banana cream at the moment and it has 7 grams of sugar0 -

Which is also about half of most greek yogurts0 -

Depends on which type of sugar you are talking about. I mean I'm eating 3/4 a cup of greek yogurt with strawberry sugar free syrup and a few fresh strawberries tossed in. So, yes I'm eating 17 gm of sugar, however it's not processed added sugar. My medical team doesn't care about natural sugars. It's the processed white sugar I'm told to stay away from.
Personally, I find it cheaper to buy large containers of of plain greek yogurt and flavor it how I want it. Torani and Da Vinci syrups are my friend!0
