    Could spring be getting closer to arriving in NH ??? Well it's March, so I really hope so . . .

    Goal for March: 100 miles

    March 2nd: 2.5 miles (Stationary Bike)
    March 2nd: .75 miles (Swimming)
    March 3rd: 12 miles (Spin)

    Total (*so far): 15.25 miles

    3.1 miles today, 1 running and 2.1 walking. Im transitioning from treadmill to outside. So my runs will be lighter for a couple weeks.

    Lent Monday today, a national holiday here. The official start of the Lent fast which lasts 40 days to Easter Sunday. During Lent, many of the faithful commit to fasting or giving up certain types of luxuries as a form of penitence, repentance of sins and self-denial.... I'm not religious myself, although this might be an opportunity to cut down on animal fats and lose a few pounds.

    @Dinos - For a few seconds, I thought you were going to give up your miles :laugh: I'm sure you can do this.

    A quick 2.3 miles for me today, between appts and the icky rainy weather. I waited till the rain stopped, went out and felt a few flurries. It was over 70 yesterday. :grumble:

    DINOS - Sounds like a good opportunity. :smile: I'll give up beer for the next 40 days. I didn't know that's what I was doing at the time, but I sorta "stocked up" last night anyway. :blushing: I don't have beer very often and when I do, it's only one or two...but last night I cracked open a "Growler" (64 oz...like 5 beers lol) of some tasty local indie stuff and I blinked and it was gone. Oops? It sure made the aches of my workouts yesterday fade away and I slept like a baby. And I felt fine this morning. Until my son texted me that he "forgot his homework notebook at home and could I please run it to school (20 minutes roundtrip the opposite direction of my work) for him?" :grumble: Mr. Forgetful. I have nooooooo idea where he gets that from.... angel.gif
