Anyone is welcome to join the challenge at any time. If you're not on the participant list below, please reply that you'd like to join and what you're percentage lost is this week compared to last week.

Opps, sorry strawmama. My mistake. I should have added in this post that starting weight for this challenge is last week's weight compared to this weeks weight. The challenge is based on weekly progress. I should have made that more clear. Otherwise your math is correct.0

Madddonnnaaa, go ahead and post your weekly progress for this week. I'll add you to the participant list next week. Not an admin, so I can't go back into an old post and edit it. :-/
Karryann, maintaining is great too. I didn't lose a thing last week either. I'm sure you'll have something to report next week!

Might as well run this with my Tuesday numbers. That way I don't forget.
Week ending March 4th: 79.4kg
Week ending March 11th: 78.0kg
Total loss: 1.75%
Note: I realize that the weights above would give you 1.76% when directly divided, but those are the rounded average weight for each week. I am using the unrounded values for the actual percentage before I round to the amount of significant digits. Just trust me, this is right. This is not a normal percentage for me. My average weight loss is around 0.6-0.65kg a week... that would be about half this rate. I've just had one of those weeks where I stalled out for a while and then randomly dropped a huge amount on the scale and had it stay down.0 -
Not that impressive. - 0.8, hey ho :drinker:
Hey, don't say that! That's great. If you keep that rate you'll lose over 40% of your starting weight over a year. It's a great rate. My long-term weekly rate is very close to 0.77% and I am very pleased with that. It just so happened that we started this on a freak week for me. Next week, I expect to be right back around 0.8% or maybe less.0 -
Means that I've been off low carb for about three weeks, this was the challenge I needed.
Next week I'll see a % loss, but for now - I rest in knowing that my weight from last Wednesday, was up on Monday by 3.5 pounds and back to the same weight this morning.
This week - 0% loss.
Goal for Memorial Day - 7.6% loss or greater from today.
Weekly accountability will get me there - thanks for the challenge!0 -
:flowerforyou: thanks - I know it's easy to say "I only lost....." but really a loss is a loss is a loss0

Yes, the weight loss formula works the same. I weigh in kg. There's no need to change it to pounds.0 -

Finally, I get to post my progress for the week! 1.80% Woot! The week before though I stalled, so my weight loss this week was a little larger than normal.
And I already challenged myself this week to try a new food, which was blackberries. They're now my 2nd favorite fruit behind strawberries. :-)0 -
