Hey challengers! This week I'm giving you an article on artificial sweeteners.

Replacing sugar with artificial sweeteners may be doing your body more harm than good. Recent studies show that these chemically modified sweeteners can damage the way your body naturally processes sugar, making you much more susceptible to overeating. Because of the increasing public health warnings, food companies are now using obscure names to hide these artificial sweeteners in their products. This list will help you avoid these dangerous chemicals.

Read those ingredients in everything you buy! In a world where we slap low-fat, all-natural, and reduced sugar, on every package it's hard to know what is REALLY in our food. This list will help you in your next trip to the grocery store.

Good luck challengers!

Jenna

Just wondering how Truvia (Stevia) ranks against these? I've been using that because (so far) there's been nothing bad found with it since it's natural from a plant & not chemically modified. Thoughts?

Yes, and I'm wondering about Stevia Leaf Extract.
