If anyone is looking for a great substitute for ranch dressing I made this yesterday and it is absolutely amazing! 255 cals for the whole thing. the whole recipe is 1 and 1/2 cups so its just 42 cals per 1/4 cup! I used it for celery and carrot dip. yumm!
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 cup 1% milk
1 packet of hidden valley dry ranch mix

 its delicious!

I saw this on Pinterest and I kept meaning to try it! Do you know how long it would last if I kept it in a mason jar?
  • I will try it tomorrow thanks!!!

I came up with 291 calories for the whole thing
or for 1/4 cup is 75.5 calories

1 cup plain greek yogurt = 260 cal
    1/2 cup 1% milk = 51 cal
1 packet of hidden valley dry ranch mix = 80 cal

it does taste awesome!!! Funny that you posted this, as me and my son just had the same thing on Sunday. Was also looking for a ranch sub and found these items in my kitchen. I did not use the milk though, but that is a good idea as my dip was almost to thick.

I make a similar recipe - I use 12 oz plain greek yogurt to 1 packet of Ranch. A 2 oz. serving is 43 cals... Still delicious!

I have done the same recipe with a packet of Good Seasons Italian (dressing mix) and people LOVED it and it had fewer calories than the ranch mix.

    Thanks for sharing!
