I did my W1D3 yesterday and I will be going to W2D1 tomorrow. All of this is on the treadmill but the emparssing part is a supervisor from work (he's not my supervisor) noticed a few days ago. Now he wants me to start looking into 5k races.0

c25k week 2 day 1. So I've hit a bump. I went out today for my run walk training and it was 25F out but I layered up and went. I made it more than 2/3rds of the way and then when I was jogging up an extremely steep hill my calve just shoot a pain I stopped immediately and stretched it out and then started walking home. I think I might of over extended it on the incline I'm not sure I made it home fine and its a little sore but not that bad. Also I wanted to add I stretch before and after each run. Do you think it is safe to do w2d1 again on Saturday?0

I would just write it off as a bad run and keep going. We all have those days. Make sure you are hydrated. And I am impressed that you went out at all in that kind of weather--I am a wimp and am firmly attached to the treadmill until it is warm out!
I had a crap run last night, too, but it was because my 4 year old wouldn't cooperate and ride his scooter while I ran. So I ended up just doing the elliptical after the monsters were in bed. I did the 30 min week 9 run on the treadmill on Monday, though!! Still super proud even though I am snails' pace slow. I will be writing my graduation post soon!!!!0 -

The dreaded W5D3 is done!
Did it outside, and although I didn't go as far or fast as I normally do, I ran 20 minutes straight!
I never thought that I'd be able to do it!0 -

Good morning everyone! I'm new to the group, and I can't wait to start C25K. I'm 33 and live in Bellevue, NE. I'm a stay at home mom to our two boys Aidan who is four, and Anthony who is five months. I started C25K in January, but due to a foot stress fracture I had to stop for a while. I'm now back in the groove of things and ready to start week one tomorrow. I have a lot of weight to lose and along with C25K I'm going to be doing some cardio exercises as well. I'm doing my very first 5k on July 19th at the Color Run in Omaha, NE. I'm also looking for some new recipes to try out, that are budget friendly and healthy. Anyone have anything, if so feel free to message them to me. Have a great day everyone!!!0

I finished C25K back in May when I was still at university. And then I stopped running.
So now I'm struggling back through it. On Sunday I ran 25 minutes, though tonight I ran 22 minutes, walked for 5 and then ran 8 minutes.
I'm running a 5K in May with some people from work and my aim is just to be able to run the whole thing... here's hoping!0 -

I can run for an 45 strait in the treadmill. It's the slowest 45 minutes on earth but I don't give up. I run it though. I still haven't hit the 5k mark in running but I do know I will get it one day. I know most people can walk a mile as fast as I "run" but I am ok with this. I don't let it bug me but I love the fact that I can do it.
Now once this crappy weather lets up, I will be training to run outside. I can't run out side for nothing. I can get about a half mile in before I want to die but I know I will get to a 5k on that too.
Its not about speed its a about the feeling at the end..
I saw this quote and loved it
