Adding 3 miles today. I worked with my trainer and then did 2 miles on the TM and 1 on the elliptical. The gym was very quiet this morning...guess the slushy snowy mess outside kept people home. :) I love sharing the gym with only 3 other people! LOL! Have a great Friday!

Dave, thanks for the info on PFS. I spent some time last night researching treatment options, etc online. I am confident that I can overcome this and become a runner after all.

okay so I have 10.3 this week already. I might want to change my goal...lol

Dave-Change my goal over to 50. That sounds more reasonable now that I actually see how far I'm walking every day.

.... 4 mile run today, bringing me to 8 so far for the month. Heading off on vacation today so won't be running (except one little race  ) or on her much.

Will report on mileage/race when I get back (or if there is wifi at the hotel)

3.5 mile walk today. Working the next three nights, hoping to get in a mile or two at work, but we're starting a new charting system that is freaking everyone out so I'm not holding out hope. With all the extra help around, it'll probably be an obstacle course trying to do laps around the hall.

CALLIOPE610 - Absolutely! This is just a little speed bump. You'll get past this. Just be patient and take it slow until you get through it.

MEG2166 - Welcome to you too! :drinker: Lots of new people this month...love it!! :)

SPIKESMOM - Congrats on the new bike! :) Same here about the spinning bikes. I went back to the spin studio instead of the gym spin class last night. I just like the bikes they have at the spin studio instead. They have the digital readouts for RPM, odometer, cals burned and gear with a shifter 'lever' instead of a knob you turn with random resistance. They just feel* smoother too. Plus I like the instructor's style better. :)

CHARLI0329 - You got it! I upped your goal on the sheet for you. Great work! :drinker:

KAR328 - You can make your walks a contact sport! Extra points for body checking...:laugh:

    HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!

I learned yesterday that push mowing my yard is 3 miles of walking - no wonder I always procrastinate doing it!

DCMAT - Ouch! I hate back injuries. I hope you get that worked out quickly. On the bright side, you're not wearing your bike out. You're not going to break cranks or chains when you can't ride.
