Exercising and JUDDD

So I have been enjoying JUDDD! It has been amazing so far. However I am wondering what I should do and thought it would be best to seek out help from those who have gone through it before just trying it on my own.

I had my first DD on Monday, then of course my 2nd Wendesday and completing my 3rd today. This will make me opposite next week. My worry is that my hardest workout days where I burn 1000+ calories are on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. So my question is, do you think it would be better for me to complete 2 fast days in a row, Sunday and Monday, or should I attempt fasting on a day that I burn so many calories? So far I have seemed to have plenty of energy on my DD but I haven't had many.

Great question! Hopefully someone more experienced can answer. I'm not sure. I am doing exercises on my high days right now. But I totally feel I could probably do them any day. I drink a carb advantage drink if I feel I need something. So far that has worked for me.

I don't think 2 down days in a row is a good idea. IMO, a lot of why JUDDDing worked for me was that I wasn't deprived, so I never felt like cheating or giving up. Two down days in a row seems like it would leave you hungry and deprived.

Maybe 2 medium days (average up day + down day calories) in a row. I usually do two up days in a row if I am changing my pattern.

I don't lift on fast days. But I still do cardio (running) on down days. I don't find that it is much different (technically, my heart rate speeds up a tiny bit when exercising fasted) and do not take it into account at all any more.

I almost prefer it on down days - I don't have to worry about stomach cramps from food bouncing around in my belly. So, whenever I get time I know I can go run without worry. On the other hand, sometimes it is nice to eat some of those calories on up days. :)

I don't know if it was related to starting to workout or fasting, but I got a bit dizzy a couple times early on (first month or so). So, you know, be careful the first couple of times until you know how you will feel.

I don't even give it a thought. I exercise Sunday through Friday regardless if it's a dd or up day. If I notice an energy dip, I'll eat some carb (fruit) and it usually perks me right up.

Yeah I've just started JUDDD and am exercising on fast days - not Insanity, but cardio and weight training. Feel OK so far...just trying to make sure I get enough sleep. I think that helps!
