What'd you do this weekend?

First, it's nowhere near weigh in day, but I got on the scale this morning and was 143.2! That's a pound less than Friday and slightly lower than my starting weight for the challenge. I spent ALL of April stuck in the 144s.
I'm really focused on being precise with weighing.
Friday- just had a relaxing night at home. Took the dog on a long walk.
Saturday- we went to a really fun children's festival. I got to pet a 2 week old calf!! She was so sweet. No structured exercise, but I got almost 14,000 steps.
Today- it's Busch Gardens day! I'm going to start the morning with a walk with the dog and then will be walking all day. The bad thing is that I'm sure I'll be eating there and I can't weigh my food.
Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Friday: took two small kids to an 8:30 am doctor appt 30 miles away (boo!), went to pet store to see animals and kill time, costco run, massive house cleaning, drove to bike shop & picked up from tune up, biked to pharmacy, biked home, walked dog to car & drove home, did an hour and a half of gardening/yard work, passed out. Got 18k steps!!
Saturday: woke up to 7:30 text from my mil saying she was 30 minutes away!!! Scrambled to get kids fed & ready for tball, got self dressed, biked to tball game, watched game (no cracker jacks!), biked home, made grilled chicken & corn on the cob for impromptu lunch guests x4 who invited themselves over :-/ rest of he day was chilling out, walked the dog, had a popcorn in bed Star Trek date with the hubs.
Sunday: "sleep in" (my fitbit quantifies exactly how horrible I sleep D-:), did some dishes, then had a disposal emergency problem and had to run to the store for drain stuff. Did some other household shopping while out, walking and not re parking my car!
No big plans for the rest of the day. Took a nap, a soak, and will try to tackle Laundry Mountain later. Am planning on walking the dog too. Hopefully I hit my 10k steps!
I want to find time to work some structured weight lifting workouts into my schedule this week...0 -
Grocery store and studying on Saturday, no exercise unless you count exercising my patience. But I also kept it at about 1200 calories in.
Today I started the day with a long walk in the lovely North Carolina sun. My husband has started running intervals. It works like this: He starts out walking with me, then sees something he wants to take a picture of. So he stops to take his photo, but I keep walking. Then he runs to catch up. He got some nice pics today. I got my toenails done in the afternoon! Kind of a reddish-purplish glitter polish! Really fun. Then I spent the rest of the day studying for finals and doing laundry.
Way exciting thing: I was down 3# this morning from Friday's weigh in. Hope I can stay there!0 -
Did some serious shopping in Shenzhen. It is so much fun. One more week and then back home.0

I mostly spent Friday and Saturday recovering after a stomach bug. Sunday I walked/agonizingly jogged Bloomsday (an annual 12k held in Spokane, Washington). It was not very smart to go into a 12k without any training, shortly after being sick, having planned to leisurely walking the whole thing, and then decide at the last minute to jog as much as possible. (But it was fun. Up until mile 5, at least. That's when a knee rebelled and my fingers started swelling.)0

Friday I went for a walk with the boyfriend after work, then we went out to dinner at a Mexican Restaurant and had a couple of drinks (mmm Sangria). Saturday I went for a run at Mt. Tom Reservoir... it was very peaceful and pretty, only a few other people some ducks crossed my path. I started to lift on Saturday, but my boyfriend came home early and distracted me, before long it was time to meet up at my sister's for dinner (Salmon, Veggies, and Couscous... and some Champagne). Yesterday I was pretty lazy, I should have gone for another run, or brought my pup for a walk... but my boyfriend brought me on base and gave me a tour of a C-5... it was SOO cool, I got to walk around on the wings, and climb up onto the top of the tail. I felt like a 5 year old with how excited I was lol
I'm hoping to have a great week with my workouts and eating, which shouldn't be too hard as long as I avoid making too many treats for my "boyfriend" :laugh:0 -
I ate chips and queso for dinner last night. A lot of it.
The bloat is real today. The bloat is real.0 -

Congrats on your weight drop! Also, sounds like a really fun weekend.
I had a 3 day weekend since I had Friday off. My hubby took the day off too. I went to a Body Pump class Friday morning, came home and showered and then we headed up to the nearby mountains to pick my 6th grade daughter up from O.W.L. camp (Outdoor Wilderness Lab). She went up on Monday and spent the school week up there.
Saturday we had our big Girls on the Run 5k race. I am the lead coach at my Elementary school so I had to be there early for a coaches meeting. Unfortunately my daughter couldn't run with me this year because she brought a stomach bug back from camp with her and ended up getting sick before we left for the race. So I had all but 2 of my team of girls show up for the race, not sure what happened to the other.
Sunday I went to the gym and started my very first round of Stronglifts 5x5, which I've been talking about starting for about a month now. I was really glad that I did! I'm looking forward to tomorrow's session.0 -
